jexxa, I bought the vitamin D drops but have forgotten to start them whoops. Pedi did recommend though again like with my first. Also do you pump when she does a stretch that long? I don't know if I'm screwing myself by not pumping the couple times she has gone like 5 hours muscari, totally ok, let her sleep! I think I asked you before but has she been for a weight check recently? As long as they aren't losing and I assume she is definitely back at birth weight at this point there is no need to wake them. Take any sleep you can get 😛

jt2378 nope, I haven't used the pump yet. If I feel uncomfortable I just hand express a little. I'm also not having supply issues though - I would definitely be using it if I was.

She hasnt been weighted since she was 10 days (she is 21 days today).. we won't get another weight in till her 1mo appointment (which is the 25th). She was 10 grams under birth weight at her last weight but was gaining every day and she is definitely well over birth weight now and growing. So you think it is def okay to let her sleep even if she goes like 6h in between feedings?? She should wake up on her own if she's hungry right? As for pumping, I did plan on pumping halfway in between her longer stretches of sleep. But in practice I don't get to it since she only sleeps that long at night and I just can't make myself set an alarm to pump when I am finally getting some rest myself.. I did feel a little full when I wake up in the am for a couple days in a row but nursing then pumping took care of that. Yesterday I didnt feel full which of course freaked me out, worrying my supply went down already again?! But this am the feeling was back.. I am just so confused about all this boob and milk stuff lol.

muscari it's hard because you don't know how much the baby weighs or how much she is getting every feeding. That's why I rented this damn baby scale. I feel better knowing j is gaining and how much he gets with a feeding.

This makes sense and makes me feel better. Same here and since I'm not having supply issues, I have only pumped a couple of times but not MOTN

I know it's so confusing with the boobs but it should all start to even out and get easier in the next few weeks.

Age: 1 month today! Milestones: She can track things now. Last night she went 6 hours between feedings. Good/Bad from the week: good - she's growing like a champ as evidenced by her checkup today. Bad - I can't really think of anything right now. Questions: those of you BFing - are you giving your LOs vitamin D drops? I remember doing it with DS as recommended by our pedi. It hasn't been mentioned this time around and I forgot to ask at DD's appt today. Yes, we're doing vitamin d drops. Your pedi prob forgot to mention, but you should start.

They didn't mention it upon hospital discharge, which surprised me, but then at his first follow up they did so we started. I'm awful at remembering them 🙈

addymac I put them in the first bottle of the day so I don't forget. Otherwise it would be a mess.

That could also help.
