Yeah, as you know you're bed bound on mag. If today follows my 24 hour mag day after DD's delivery it should also pass in a drugged blur. Lol

H is down there and he's sending me videos via the Marco Polo app.

Baby has an oxygen tube in his nose, then another tube down his throat in to his belly to relieve the gas from the oxygen being pumped in to his body, then an IV with nutrition in his foot. H says he's ok though. He's in the right place to be monitored.

I am a little sad about DD not being able to visit him. They don't let minors in the NICU here, so we need a new plan on how we want her to meet him.

I was hoping he wasn't quite that hooked up like maybe he could be brought over for some cuddles or at least see him.

But, at the same time, it is just 24hrs and then you can spend as much time as they allow cuddling and visiting. It truly is more important to keep you safe and stable. I know it's hard. But, your life is so important to your family. And even if that means some time away from DS, it means you are being helped and kept safe to be able to care for your family later.


With my son, he was sent for observation and help with his breathing. But even when he was in our room, I wasn't allowed alone with him. So anytime dh left the room, he had to send DS to the nurses. Until I was off the mag and moved off the maternity floor.

He's where he needs to be!! I'm so glad we're at a level III as well. It's far from us too but fuck no to delivering at 34 weeks at our local hosp with just the 'special care' one. I don't even know if they would take us at 34.

But again, sounds like he's doing great and hopefully gets pulled soon!! I'm sorry your DD can't visit but she will have so much time once you guys are home 😊

Lol, I was a 10/8 EDD, but knew I'd never make it that far. We were hoping for one more week, butt baby and body had other plans!

Oh yeah, I totally get it. We went thorough the same thing with DD. I'm going to the nurse if there's a way to call down to the NICU to see how he's doing. He's where he needs to be, and that's all that matters.

I sent H to my dad's to be with DD tonight. I'm not going anywhere, DS isn't going anywhere, so he might as well get a good night's sleep.

H is visiting DS and the NICU says he's doing great. They're weaning him off the respiratory therapy and are waiting until that is done before feeding. He's still getting the IV nutrition.

Not yet. I'm still here until Tuesday most likely, so I'm hoping he can come home with me, but it really depends on how long it takes him to become alert enough to eat.
