Random chatter goes here. How is everyone and their babies?

I'm still around. My baby is turning 10 mo this month. We had a bad scare last month. He fell from his crib MOTN (luckily he was ok) and I couldn't handle the anxiety of the crib so we threw it out (old). Now he cosleeps with us. Which is what we were trying to avoid. But I sleep better, even though he is still waking up multiple times a night to nurse...comfort nurse probably. Otherwise, Alex is a happy mobile baby. I think he'll walk early like his brother. I'm already tired chasing him around...

littlelion 👋🏼 I'm glad he was okay after the fall. That sounds terrifying. J is 15 weeks today and started daycare this week. I know he is still a tiny baby but having a place to go on the regular makes it seem like he is a real person. It's a weird feeling.

A hates sleep. I wish I knew why. Sigh. It's really hard to pay attention to paperwork when I just want to nap at work

The sleep regression has started here. He mostly wants to just snuggle at 4 am. He's so damn cute though. I can't be too mad, right?

Hi littlelion. How scary!! I don't blame you for cosleeping after that, I would have such anxiety after that. Not sure why, this new place feels so different. So I havnt been posting much. I has such a different feel. But I miss everyone. Sebastian is 6months and turning more into a little boy everyday. My baby is growing too fast! He is doing great with sleep and going 10-11 hours straight most nights. Solids are also going well. I just have to do better at offering solids more now. He loves avocado and hates banana so far.

Thanks for the tag mikaela20! I don't know why I always forget to check over here, I pretty much just live in the blinds now but I miss you ladies! Amelia is 6 months old and such a fun, easy going baby. She is a great nighttime sleeper but will only nap in 30 minute stretches which is beyond annoying. She's sitting, rolling all over the place and constantly babbling. We've started purees and she's doing really well, her favorites are peanut butter and sweet potatoes. She's still a tiny little thing, at her 6 month appointment she was 24 inches and 13 lbs 7 ounces. Her pediatrician thinks she's just going to be little but we're doing weight checks every 4 weeks just to be safe

We have a couple little ones in the group too with similar stats. I'm so nervous about giving ds nuts but I know I need to do it soon. Yay that A is loving the peanut butter already. That's basically my main food source in the house lol I am doing purees too. The group is mostly into baby-led weaning with a few doing purees. DS is a peanut too on the boy growth chart. 15lbs 4oz and 24 inches long at 6 months.

My little girl has become a stage one daddy clinger. If he hands her to me she starts screaming and reaching for him, she will frantically peer over my shoulder trying to find him, she will look at him and cry until he picks her up. So this morning my husband apparently dug out the baby carrier that my older son always hated and there she was just contentedly hanging out with daddy. He looks at me and says "You win little girl, you win." Lol. She gave me the biggest smile like "that's damn right."

I also feel this place is different. I lurk other parts of the board but am glad to see you guys checking in. I've missed everyone!
V turned 3 months yesterday and I swear she woke up as a big girl. Last night she slept in her crib all night for the first time (well, she woke up to eat but went back down in her crib), she rolled back to belly 2 days ago, and suddenly loves Tummy Time. Like who are you?!
I am home until Nov 20th and was having some feels about how long and lonely the days are. Now that she has suddenly become more fun and interactive I am thinking the time will fly by.
A year ago this week we started our cycle that resulted in V. I am feeling all the feels about that. How far we have come in a year. When I feed her MOTN I just stare at how perfect she is.

What would you do if some one offered you 14 cans of formula. But you do not need it ? Would you take this from a stranger through mutual friend? Take it became it will save you money in the future if you do need it ? I probably wouldn't take it unless I knew I would end up using it since it would really help someone who needed it and even unopened formula expires within a year. So, my son was a great breast feeder but I always was freaking out about supply and all that, he ended up feeding fine for over a year but I didn't KNOW that would be the case. Little girl, she has to have formula mixed with her pumped breast milk to up the calorie intake. For her I'd take it, for him I wouldn't have.

@starzia That's an awesome idea! It can't hurt to have one or two on hand just in case.
