Age: 2.5
Milestones: Everything is met with "I'm not a baby!" A few nights ago, he informed us he's not a baby anymore and won't sleep in our bed, so he's sleeping in his big kid bed in DS1's room now. I'm handling it much better than H, who has been sleeping on the boys' floor "just in case he needs someone..."
Challenges: I'M NOT A BABY!
Funny/cute stories: He's been really into taking pictures of things with H's phone. He walks around the house giggling to himself and snapping pictures.
How are you? Good! We're too busy with school and soccer though. DS1 started getting homework yesterday, and we had to do it this morning because we were scheduled every moment from school getting out until past bedtime last night. H started evening shifts this week and it's overwhelming with everything else.
Anything else? Nope!
QOTW: Did you do anything for the holiday weekend? We were lazy lazy bums. DS1 and I went shopping for fall/winter clothes at Target, and other than that, we did as little as possible. It was really nice.

Age: 4
Milestones: He is my child who likes sleeping in! Woooo! Also, he starts pre-K tomorrow and he's super excited!
Challenges: He also takes eleventy hours to go to bed each night. It is... not fun.
Funny/cute stories: His baseball coach in the spring was Coach Bill. Which he pronounced Beeeeeel. We just got info on soccer for the fall and wouldn't you know, his coach is named Phil. He had a field day with that. Coach Pheeeeeel.
How are you? Good. Exhausted. Need a vacation. Also starving because counting calories and such. Worst!
QOTW: Did you do anything for the holiday weekend? Our friends had a cookout on Sunday. Monday was a chill day. More of a OMG ARE WE READY FOR SCHOOL TOMORROW day. It was fine. Grocery shopped, meal planned, laundry completed, etc.

Age: 20 days away from 2. How is that even possible?
Milestones: Nothing huge. He's talking like crazy. Climbing, jumping, running, yelling, toddlin' too.
Challenges: His independence, man. He wants to do EVERYTHING himself and RIGHT NOW.
Funny/cute stories: He's super cute, but I can't think of a story right now. I might come back.

Age: 4 Milestones: Started pre-K last week, and she's knocking it outta the park so far! Challenges: The Negotiator has returned. Funny/cute stories: She tells me every time she poops at school. And she does NOT wait until we're in the car to tell me about it LOL I think the entire class heard her declaration yesterday LOL How are you? Like boxerific, I'm trying to get rid of some pounds. So hangry and counting points. Anything else? J starts ballet/tap this month and she's so excited. I am, too. I hope she likes it. QOTW: Just hung out and got some stuff done around the house. Nothing very exciting. boxerific - There's a big festival by me, with a parade and fireworks. You should check it out!

Age: 15 months Milestones: grabs her crotch when she poops or pees, getting better at climbing, went down a slide by herself Challenges: Tantrums. Forever and always. And nighttime wake ups. I'm really looking forward to the day she sleeps more than two hours at a time. Funny/cute stories: hm. When she went down the slide by herself, when she would get to the bottom she would just lay there with her arms up until you came and got her so she could go again. Lol i got a video of it. It's pretty funny, but maybe I'm biased. 😉 How are you? Not great. Aside from issues with my meds, I've been having a rough time with missing my babies and I've got really bad baby fever, but I'm OADNBC, so no hope there. *Sigh* hopefully once it cools off outside and I can go for walks again things will get easier. Anything else? Nope. QOTW: Did you do anything for the holiday weekend? Nope. Not really.

hawkward - I'm going to a parade tomorrow. Thought you'd wanna know LOL, I've been to so many damned parades this year since saying that. DS1 getting socially aware about stuff like parades has been the worst for community involvement hating self. I'm pretty sure I actually have to walk in a homecoming parade next week because I accidentally became an elementary soccer coach.
