courtniko, most days, K requires that I hold her while cooking. Which works so well when you need to cut things, or pull something out of the oven. MANY a meltdown on both sides have been when I'm making dinner. It isabsolutely awful, and K refuses to be worn, so I can't even carry her like that. I've had to change up my routine to come in, hold her for 10ish minutes, where we get the mail, feed the fish, pet the cat, etc. and then most days she'll get down and go play after that. I then have 15 minutes top to do whatever I need to do. I used to love cooking, but now it stresses me out.

After reading the UO thread in general discussions, I'm changing my least favorite chore to ironing. I hate it so, so, so much. I basically refuse to do it unless it's for an interview or if I'm prepping fabric. +1 & dh expects me to iron his clothes even jeans! 🙄 sometimes I feel bad the kids clothes are wrinkly...full circle back to hate folding laundry

Cat boxes. Absolute worst. Followed by ironing, a chore I literally never do. MIL chooses to iron some things when she watches DD once a week. I just don't gaf and buy things that don't require it.
Favorite is cooking. I enjoy it if I can either get DD to watch a show or play alone (mother of the year...) or if H is home and can keep her occupied. I'm not nearly as good a cook as I was before DD, because I'm more distracted. Literally the grill caught fire the other night and said it was over 600°F. Somehow the chicken was blackened as it was supposed to be and (eventually, with some oven help) done on the inside lol. A Christmas miracle. And DD ate some and demanded more.

I really hate chores. I am a horrible cook, so I don't even try to do that. I also despise grocery shopping - like, I hate it so much that I just speed shop and try to get out of the grocery store asap if I am the one stuck going. Maybe that is an errand and not a chore though? Luckily DH enjoys cooking and grocery shopping, so that is all him.
I refuse to iron - clothes steamer for the win and DH is actually in charge of that too.
Dusting is so tedious and annoying. Vacuuming and mopping floors also sucks.
I don't really mind cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, or doing laundry/folding/putting away. I mean, it's not fun, but I will do it and get it done efficiently. Decluttering/organizing/purging and putting stuff away is so satisfying and I kind of enjoy that.
In terms of yard work - I've always lived in urban environments/high rise buildings, so no experience or need to mess with that! Fine by me too - taking care of a yard or home exterior has no appeal for me.
Yeah...so I am not a domestic goddess - that's for sure.

FFFC - I don't even own an iron. I didn't either. Until one year I ooohed and ahhhed over how great my cousin was ironing and he said it was the iron, I was ok, nice...and he gifted me the same iron for Christmas.

Folding laundry and meal planning. I hate those with a passion.

I hate all chores and am terrible at them all. Washing dishes and doing laundry are the least annoying to me. I don't really fold DD's clothes. She is very opinionated about what she wears and pulls clothes out of her dresser constantly and I just gave up on folding. It saves me a lot of time and effort. I really hate cleaning bathrooms. Especially my master because it is old and gross and never really gets clean. I really want to get a cleaning service but H is not onboard.

I'd probably laugh him off the planet in response.

fuzzylogic I find the state of the litter box is definitely cat specific. some cats, like people, never learned how to properly go to the bathroom. I can say pregnancy was a godsend for getting out of cleaning the litter. I've done it a handful of times since giving birth. It's mh's job now. I've offered to do it, but I think he worries about possible germ transmission to K. The vet practically scared the shit out of him regarding the seriousness of toxoplasmosis and pregnancy.

In order from hate to tolerate:
1. unloading the dishwasher 2. cleaning up after a meal 3. sweeping/mopping 4. taking the trash out 5. folding/putting laundry away
