I'm sorry Cher, I hope cutting out the dairy helps him a little. Sorry you're feeling crappy wineallthetime, ginger ale, saltines and a bland diet helped me with J a little

Tips for pregnancy neasea? I haven't dealt with this a ton in the past. Miso soup, ginger ale, B6 and Unisom.

Training got out 40 minutes early. I think I'm going to get myself lunch before I head home.

I need input on EIs. So, I know doctors and chiropractors mostly hate each other, but I decided to take H in with me to the chiropractor because I suspect another EI. I texted is pedi first to get her opinion. She basically said she thinks its nonsense, but won't do harm. So I took him in this morning and he got adjusted and the chiro said his right ear definitely has fluid and is red.. so ear infection #4 since June.
He wants us to come back Friday to recheck his ears. But now I feel like I'm doing my kid harm by not taking him in to the pedi knowing he has an ear infection. When he had his last EI a month ago, the pedi said if it didn't clear up, we would get the ENT referral for tubes. It technically cleared up by the follow up 2 weeks later, but now it's back.
H hasn't had a fever and but has a cold/cough so he's acting a little "off" but not terrible. Still sleeping fine at night.
Soooo... WWYD? Wait it out and take him to the follow up Chiro on Friday or try to get him in to the pedi asap? Or I could try and get him into the pedi Monday after a couple of chiro adjustments.

Since it's only 2 days and he's not super uncomfortable I would be willing to wait. If he starts acting really uncomfortable or spikes a fever tomorrow I'd bring him in to your pedi and request an ENT referral.

Morning ladies. Thanks for the commiseration today. Apparently dd is on a sleep strike, her normal 2.5-3 hour nap turned into one hour today. She's sounds asleep now and I'm on a date with my sister to go see the biggest swan lake in the world (200 dancers)!

My chiro adjusts my ears when I get a cold. Sometimes it helps a little & sometimes it doesn't. I would take him to the pedi, verify the EI, get a prescription for the antibiotics & the referral to the ENT. But I wouldn't give him the antibiotics unless he starts acting uncomfortable or gets a fever. Let the chiro check out his ear on Friday and see what happens.

Tips for pregnancy neasea? I haven't dealt with this a ton in the past. Keep gallon sized Ziploc bags in your glove compartment. Saved me a few times. I also did best when I ate crackers or toast the second I got up. If my stomach was completely empty I got sick.

It's hard enough to stay in line with 16 swans. I can't imagine 48.

Cher I'm really sorry things are though. Supposedly colic is at his peak between 8-10 weeks and then gets less. I really hope this is true for you guys as well. Hugs.

Typically I'd say I'd be totally fine waiting since a lot of times the pedi says to hold off on antibiotics unless they seem like they need them. However, with it being his 4th since June, I think I'd go in mostly for the ENT referral.

Hey girls! I'm back home. Sent C1 off to school. Now I'm home with C2. I need to unpack, workout and clean this house until we have a doctor's appointment and pickup this afternoon. I really just want to curl up and nap. I think C2 has colic. And I'm fucking tired. Oh no! I was thinking M2 had a bit of colic too, but all the things I read say breastfed babies rarely get colic. Also, the whole 3 thing. He doesn't cry for 3 hours and he is consolable most nights, so I'm thinking just gas build-up throughout the day and his little tummy hurts at night. Our doc said to do the gerber soothe probiotic drops, but we've been doing them for a week and I haven't noticed a difference. I have been mostly dairy-free and avoid gassy foods, so I'm not sure what else it could be. 🤷🏽♀️ Someone here recommended the Mylicon drops and they changed my life. I would give it right before the feedings he was usually fussiest during/after. Also, someone ( wedding I think) gave me a belly rub to help. His tummy has been fine for months, but I still do it every night before bed.

I just cut dairy today. I didn't get up with him once last night. I was done after being with him all day, driving in a car home from the Hamptons with him and MH went to a draft until about midnight. I basically handed the baby to him when he walked in and went to bed until six. MH ended being up with him all night. I couldn't deal with the crying anymore. Ugh I 'm sorry. I went through a similar time with B. It was rough. IS that Snoo thing you got helping? I know a lot of people swear by cutting dairy. My lactation consultant (who is also my pedi) believes that it doesn't help a majority of babies and that it's just anecdotal. I just posted about the mylicon drops but I swear those changed my life in the early days. They were the only thing to calm him. I would do it right before the last feeding of the night. If he got up at night and was inconsolable, I would give him a drop and 9 times out of 10, he was calm within 5 minutes. Those drops were my savior.

I'm so sorry, Cher. That's super hard to deal with. slenle, I probably would take him to the pediatrician for the ENT referral and to have the script for abx on hand. I wouldn't cancel with the chiropractor, though.

LOL wedding, you beat me to the suggestion - I was replying as I read it. Also, the gripe water did nothing for us. I tried it, but no results.

Cher I used to turn the dyson on and hold M close to it. lol. Just out of curiosity, have you done a weighted feeding to make sure he's getting enough at night? Everyone used to tell me with M that you'd be able to tell if she was still hungry because she'd root around, etc. Nope, home girl would just scream.

I just bought MH and a friend tickets to It on Friday night as a surprise. The show is at seven and both of my children are usually asleep by then. I'm actually going to have a whole stretch of hours practically alone in the house. What will I do?

wineallthetime miso soup, saltines, English muffins, sprite or ginger ale. Also, +1 to Keeping plastic bags of some sort in the car! MS is the worst, I'm sorry.
