Oh, no coffee either.... Now that's a deal breaker for me. This particular challenge comes with a powder drink mix called Spark. It has 20 vitamins, minerals and nutrients that is basically a healthier energy drink. I am really surprised how good it's working. I had it in place of my coffee. Feeling good so far.

oh man I thought that said handful of almonds for lunch Betweenthelines, I was like taketheshot, I made energy balls that helped, they had oats and honey and chocolate chips and peanut butter I believe. They gave me a sweet fix! www.gimmesomeoven.com/no-bake-energy-bites/You can really only eat one at a time because they're calorie dense but I did find that they really helped fill me up.

taketheshot my go to for sweet cravings are sort of homemade chocolate cookies. I don't do measurements, but you mix coconut oil, cocoa, peanut butter (or almond butter if whole 30...really any nut butter), shredded coconut, some nuts or seeds (whatever you have on hand). Mix it up well, then drop on a sheet and put in the freezer. In basically 30 minutes you have a melt-in-your-mouth delicious sweet treat (if you like dark chocolate). I have some in my freezer as we speak! Lots of yum and no guilt.

mommabakes, cashew cookie is my favorite too! I love Larabars! Also PSA (and hate to be the bearer of bad news)....honey is sugar. That said, I think it is better to add it to stuff instead of white sugar but really it is mostly just sugar! So just use a little bit!

Day 1 down. I ended the night with a slight headache. Probably from the lack of sugar that I'm used to.
For dinner last night I had a burger on a lettuce wrap instead of a bun with an avocado mashed with sriracha and a sweet potato for dinner. I was surprisingly full from it and didn't think of snacking all night.
Day 1 down. Onto day 2.

i made a "clean" dinner last night. balsamic peach crockpot chicken with asparagus and brocolli slaw salad. the kids had some mashed pot.

Sugar cravings have gone down substantially.. I can't believe it. Those first 3 days were terrible. I was ready to rip someone's head off.. But yesterday I was stupid busy and didn't have the time to think about food and today I'm not craving anything! And I'm down 2.5lbs from Monday

Day 1- my H is almost to his high school weight. I need to do something!!!
Modified whole30. I am allowing beans and legumes.
I just got set to make my tea, salted coffee for me I guess
Oh, and I'm going to food and wine next week, so I gotta rein it in so my pants fit.
Still plan to hit 50 miles a week on the bike

This has been the weirdest health week of my life. My body is really going through some changes trying to adjust to low carb/low sugar life. I felt like crap yesterday. Dizzy, nauseous, achey.. That's all part of the adjustment apparently. Also I'm constantly bloated and gassy from all of the vegetables I'm eating. This is not easy by any means.
I've been accepted into a program that my H's work is running. Its a 10 week program about learning to eat right. I doubt I'll learn anything new but at least it will be something to keep me accountable.

Down another pound for an even 30 lb loss. I tried on jeans the other day and I'm down 3 sizes. I can't even remember the last time I was wearing this current size... early college maybe? Maybe?! Either way, high five haha
