I may still be slightly sick but my neck and back are good finally. It's time for me to really get back on the wagon. This week is healthy eating and working out everyday. I joined a squat challenge thru Facebook. I am also hitting up the gym Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. May try to get Saturday in after the kids gymnastic class.
I am ready to recommit and to start to see some change!
I found a 30 day waist trainer challenge - who wants to do it? I'll go start a thread for it..

I'm starting my 24 day challenge today. So I'll be here. I have my period so I of course don't want to move at all, but I'm going to at least try and do something every night. Even if it's just arms, some squats, or cycling for 15 minutes. Since I'm sitting at a desk all day and not very active throughout the day, I'm using THIS as my breakfast/lunch inspiration instead of snacks as it's titled. Breakfast was a banana and I made a yogurt parfait last night to take with me today. I put a few pieces of frozen fruit at the bottom of a mason jar, some plain greek yogurt, sliced almonds, and a squeeze of honey. Lunch is 2 lettuce wraps (pepper sticks, carrot, edamame, sriracha) and 2 hard boiled eggs. Snack is a handful of natural (non-roasted, unsalted) almonds.

Betweenthelines, I am eating about the same. Breakfast today is english muffin with peanut butter and banana. Lunch, 2 hard boiled eggs, 4 slices of deli turkey, greek yogurt and string cheese. Snack, blueberries. Dinner grilled shrimp, brown rice and black beans.

also this is my workout this week. plus the waist challenge and squat challenge. Plus cardio. I will focus on core and lower body next week. CoreMore coreUpper body

RunsforWineandCarbs, this was my plan for dinner, but I think I took the tenders instead of the cutlets out of the freezer last night. So either way, it'll be some form of fajitas. I'll eat mine on lettuce wraps instead of tortillas. Brown rice and beans as well.

Things are good here. I think I am at the tail end of my reverse diet where I slowly add calories in to repair metabolism. I'll switch to a maintenance mode soon with the plan to reduce calories in January. If all goes according to plan I will be losing weight in January while eating between 2,000-2,500 calories. I plan to do a slow weight loss where I'll lose less than a pound a week.
Workouts are good. I have about 3.5 weeks left in beast body. Love that program. I'll keep lifting and add in some running soon

I am gearing up for my whole life challenge on the 16th. I have been trying to ease into now so it's not a big shock. I am really sick of laying around and sitting around. 1 more week of rest and then I will head back to the gym. But for the first two weeks I will only be able to just walk on the treadmill, but at least I will be there and making it habit again. I have been really making an effort to make more paleo meals and eat more veg. Betweenthelines, I made lettuce wraps last night and I could not for the life of my keep items in the wraps. haha I need to figure that out. Maybe I was using inappropriate lettuce lol IDK.

I'm down 29 pounds and I'm 4 away from my goal! Feeling good but I'd like to tighten everything up. Hoping now that school has started back up I'll be able to make more time for that.

jess213, that is awesome! What have you been doing? Low carb diet (Atkins phase 2) and I've had to cut dairy because of DD2's tummy issues. Moving a good bit, but I need to tone everything up!

I am watching my sugar intake. It has gotten out of control. I plan on keeping it around 20grams whenever possible. I am already having headaches and mood swings. Its awful. And I'm hungry.
I'm frustrated because I work out 5 times a week.. And I push myself.. But all of my jeans are tight. I gained about 4 pounds over the summer months and it is all sitting right in my lower stomach.

I'm here. I need a bit of a kick in the ass. I've been doing okay with workouts (except over the weekend because I was having weird stomach cramps issues)... but I keep eating like it's my last meal! Please motivate me haha.

I'm on the last few days of my whole 30. So far down 14.5 lbs. I need to continue these healthier eating habits, as I still have a bit of weight to lose. I know I need to add exercise and activity, but I feel like it's really hard to find the time. 2 1/2 weeks I will be in Costa Rica, so need to start to slowly introduce alcohol back in, because I don't want to be sick on my trip. Priorities! Lol

So now I am constantly on the lookout for sweet but healthy options. The best thing I've found is crunchy peanut butter but even that can't be eaten in too much excess. Oh and you know what is yucky? Oatmeal without sugar/syrup 😝😝😝

My hips/legs didn't want to cooperate today in Pound. I'm a bit stiff and sore from my workout yesterday. But I did it and always feel good when I start my day with a sweat.

Welp here goes nothing. I'm posting this all so I can be held accountable. You don't have to read it First full day of 24 day challenge starts today. The first 10 days is a cleanse. No alcohol, no sugar, no processed foods, yada yada. Took the cleanse caplets first thing this morning, and I just had my fiber drink. Breakfast follows 30 mins after fiber. Breakfast - a banana and some plain greek yogurt with a few blueberries, drizzle of honey & sliced almonds. Snack/lunch - some veggies (peppers, carrots, celery, cucumber) with a little hummus, 2 slices of turkey, some triscuits, a little honey mustard Afternoon snack - handful of almonds. Dinner - Burgers, homemade sweet potato fries, broccoli.

Oatmeal without sugar/syrup 😝😝😝 Have you tried any of the larabars? I really like the cashew cookie kind, it's just dates+cashews, no added sugar but definitely sweet. I think they have some other ones that are sweetened only with dates.
