You guys I actually managed to get up with H. I haven't left the bedroom yet, but I'm up. I meditated and washed my face. I'm just trying to figure out what to wear.

I always pick my clothes the night before. I do not have the mental capacity to decide clothing in the morning. We slept in until 7 so needless to say dh is running late. My kindergartener decided to get up and ready for school at 3am. The baby woke up at 4 with teeth issues. Dd2 was up every half hour in between. We are tired. Lol.

The little man got off to school ok. A bit of nerves, but mostly ok. One of his friends had the same teacher last year and said she's very nice, so that helped. It's weird having him gone so early. It's not even 11, and he's been gone for hours. This time last year we didn't even have to be awake until now lol. dizzycooks I think I have to start doing that. I sat there for like 15 minutes just staring at my closet 😂

It's freezing today. Barely 60 degrees. Dd3 is getting her canines finally. Lots of fun

Cold here too. L slept like poop and we have both been sick for a few days. I am really dragging ass today.

It started really cold today, I think it got down to like 5° overnight and it was about 8° when we left for school this morning. However. It's supposed to get up to 27° or so by the time we pick him up. Gotta love that Alberta weather 😂

Happy 1st day of school to those that started today! So exciting! Send us some cold please. It's still triple digits here. And I still went and got a hot Pumpkin Spice Latte this morning. I need some Fall in my life. I put a car seat in the nanny's car yesterday & she is going to start taking DD to the free programs at the library. It will be so good for DD because she needs more social interaction but my nerves are shot. I can't wait for them to be home safely!

I need to switch allergy pills. Benadryl is going to knock me out. I also need to switch laundry detergent, to see if that's what's causing the reaction.

@lollipopb - congrats on your early morning success! I echo dizzycooks - I have to lay out my clothes the night before because pre-coffee brain :/ Can you believe Aunt Flo was five days late?? And I am TTC?!?! Ugh! TTC is such a head game I have had two fertility acupuncture treatments so far. I may have to invest in some Wondfos since my cycles seem to be going cray-cray...

Yeah, send some cold here, too. Still super hot and super, super smoky. Ash is covering everything. They are letting schools out early today because of the heat and air quality. lollipop - nice work! theoprah - aah! What a mindfuck!

theoprah, how frustrating!! Do you chart? I just spent the afternoon packing - we'll be headed out to the airport tomorrow after lunch. Here's to hoping we don't get stuck in England again (DH and I got stuck there when the volcano in Iceland erupted in 2010 and then again on the way here...).

We had a pass to go to the employee store at Nike HQ today. Everyone got new shoes. Dd1 and dd2 got matching pairs - so matching they are even the same size. 😳

S said he gets his teacher's sense of humor. And a couple of kids from kindergarten are in his class again this year. A few of them moved away. I think it went well. Meet the teacher night is next week, so we'll see what she says.

nellieoleson - going to Nike HQ sounds fabulous! I am sorry the weather is so lousy - are there forest fires or something? crimsonandclover - sending you all the smooth travel vibes! I am a lazy charter (just inputting menstrual cycle dates) but this last cycle has me motivated! The Wondfos are en route!!

Please please please join me theoprah I am a whiney, sick pregnant lady and it's only week 8. I'm not living the bmb here either. 2 months lumped together and way too many people. I'm sad our little crowd has shrunk, but I really like that we can keep track of each other!

I am a lazy charter (just inputting menstrual cycle dates) but this last cycle has me motivated! The Wondfos are en route!! It's pretty fabulous because you get everything 40% off retail, but it's kind of a cluster as well. Awesome for stocking up on some sneakers, though! Yeah, tons of forest fires all across the west coast. I think 25 in Oregon alone. The one causing most of our smoke here in Portland was started Saturday by a couple teenagers throwing fireworks off a cliff in the Columbus River Gorge. The entire area is heartbroken because some of our most beloved and popular hiking areas are going up in flames. It's very sad. www.oregonlive.com/wildfires/index.ssf/2017/09/the_gorge_will_never_be_the_sa.html

theoprah that's a mind game for sure! I stopped BC and waiting for my period. I think it's been about a month. I haven't had a period since I got pregnant but I know it's coming because the acne has started nellieoleson does that mean that retail mark-up is 45%?! I always wonder what the mark-up is. So sad about the fires!!!! The sun looked similar here last night but was due to haziness I guess.

We have had a lot of hazy days from fires this summer but this is beyond anything. Thick smoke everywhere and ash swirling around like a snow flurry.

Until recently you would get a 50% discount there, but they reduced it to 40 since I was there last. Do you ever shop at Everlane? Their website has their pricing breakdown on every item (materials, labor, shipping, etc) and also list what a typical retail markup would be for the item. I think it's totally interesting. And I love their stuff. www.everlane.com/

Oh that website looks really cool!
I've been in the mood to do a little fall shopping lately. I picked up a bunch of stuff for dd at a gap outlet recently but I got 24 months and wondering if i should have got 2t. I'm sure the stuff will last into winter... I hope.

All the fires out west are so sad! And they aren't getting near the coverage the hurricanes are. These are scary times. theoprah, sorry for the TTGP mindfuck. I don't miss that one bit. But please feel free to commiserate here. Charting definitely helps!! I got DD some dresses, long sleeve shirts and leggings from Old Navy for fall/winter. Most of the dresses are 18-24 months and I got one that was 2T. The 2T is definitely bigger! I'd say you are ok with the 24 mos for now, @kelltothekell .

nellieoleson so sad that the fire near you was because of something stupid like that. So preventable and now your landscape will be forever changed. Hope they get it sorted soon. I just got L some 24month stuff. She has a few 2t shirts too but they are definitely bigger. All the 18 month pants were starting to look like capris.

nellieoleson seriously?? We are still rocking 18mo with plenty of room here. And the fires are awful. We have haze here from the fires. I'm sorry it's ruining your hiking trails Yep. She is >99% on the growth chart. At her 18 month visit the ped said she's the size of a 2 year old. I'm 5'10" so it's not a big surprise that she's tall. She weighs the same and measures only a half shoe size smaller than dd1, although dd1 is a few inches taller at this point. Dd1 is just now moving from 3T to 4T so they mostly wear the same clothes. Dd2 is going to be taller than her big sister sooner than later, I think.

Also - for people wondering, a big difference between 24 month size and 2T is that 24m is designed to accommodate a diapers and 2T is not. 24m has more room in the buns area and will have snaps or come with a diaper cover depending on the clothing item. 2T does not.
So. It's really hard to find pants for dd2 since she obviously still wears a diaper and still has all her baby pudge. 2T pants are probably long enough for her but they are way too narrow.

M's 18-24m pants all still fit. They're actually a bit baggy. But her shirts are all getting too small. I'll be buying her 2T dresses and shirts, but the ones that come as a set with pants and shirt aren't going to fit right. I'm going to stop buying her footie pj's and save myself the effort of finding ones that fit right.

I want a do over. My washer appears to be leaking somewhere. My FSA card was declined at the doctor. I'll spare you the details of my stomach situation. The prosecutors office has not returned my calls and the sentencing is tomorrow.
