Midwife appointment this morning and then bringing the car for an oil change. First day of school here, why did I make my appointment first thing this morning?

Good morning!
Rough night of sleep here, I think I was up 6 times just to pee. Gotta work on laundry and such today, then a midwife appt this afternoon. Super dreary outdoors, so we'll definitely be staying in. I'd like to go through my closet/dresser and organize a bit.

DD starts preschool again today... I can't believe that I'll be having another baby next month 😳.
Brought in the infant car seat yesterday and washed the liner so I need to reassemble at some point. Still waiting on BBB to get in his dresser (it's been about 5w since we ordered it) so we can pick up all his furniture and I can do all the laundry for him.

Happy Tuesday! Packing over the weekend was semi successful. We need a ton of boxes! I'll see if my work has some I can take. We are hoping by the end of the month to be outta there!

Rough night of sleep here too - I woke up several times and had a lot of back pain rolling over due to painting yesterday.
Today is our yearly long meeting with the main customer I support where the customer tells us what we did well on and how we can improve. Normally the customer says "customer service was great, dev needs to get their act straight!" which is fine for me since I'm their main customer service point of contact. Hopefully we get another good review this year! Just glad I can call into the meeting from home instead of taking a train to NJ to attend in person.

I was literally up every single hour to pee last night. I feel like I didn't get any sleep at all. Fortunately, I didn't keep H up in the process.
I am so mentally checked out of work. I only have a few small things I really need to wrap up before I go out but my motivation is nonexistent at this point. My countdown ticker tells me I have 27 days left until my due date and my motivation for work dwindles every day that number decreases.

Regular Tuesday over here! DS was in a crazy talkative and singing mood all day. He would not stop singing and even ad-libbed some lyrics to his favorite Raffi song while going potty (he substituted "wee wee" for "a wee stone." What a goof. Fingers crossed the good mood continues basically forever. 😅🤣🤓

I got all the preemie and nb clothes washed yesterday. I got fabric bought for making some blankets for gifts and ds2 baby blanket. Shelves cleaned and organized to store baby clothes and diapers. Dinner with friends. It was super productive yesterday.
Today I have high hopes to get the blankets sewn and some paperwork done that needs to be done and dishes and more organization with baby clothes. The preemie clothes are on the shelves already. I need to organize the nb clothes, choose a preemie outfit and nb to take in my hospital bag. And some cleaning. We shall see how far I get. So far? A cup of coffee and a slice of banana bread has been accomplished. It's after 9 already. I should probably get off the couch and get moving.

Today marks the start of twice- weekly NST/OB appointments for this girl. The baby hates to cooperate for the NST so that's fun.
Also, thank goodness I live so close by...MH made a rare appearance at breakfast this morning and I might have lingered a little too long over my coffee.

Ahh, that awkward moment when the NST machine has run out of paper and has been beeping for 5 mins and you're just sitting there wondering if you've been forgotten.
...and the baby is moving a ton because of course she is. I'm gonna be pissed if they need to keep me on longer.

racegurl87, we cleaned DD's car seat this weekend and moved it to the passenger side (from the middle). I also cleaned the infant car seat this weekend. Just waiting on the car seat protector to get here from Amazon to install the base! DD now points to the infant car seat and says 'for baby brother'. My heart melts. Good luck on your appointments, mkrupar and seventythree!

WFH today and I have all the windows open. It's delightfully chilly in here!
Add me to the rough sleep crew. For the last few nights, LO has decided that bedtime is playtime and has been using my bladder as a punching bag. It feels like someone is scraping their fingers across my bladder over and over again. The sensation of not having to pee then 2 seconds later having to pee immediately, then back again, is NOT fun!

Good morning everyone!! Sleeping sucks. I woke up every hour to pee and was dripping sweat all night. I'm so lethargic today.
Today was DS's first day of preschool and he is going to be heartbroken when he realizes his summer BFF is not in his class anymore. I'm sad for him.

Taitai DD has been singing a lot these days too. She remixes songs with her own lyrics and likes to throw in the national anthem. 😂 I didn't see an appointments thread yet so I'll start one to update my appointment this AM since it looks like a lot of us are on to weekly appointments. Oil change is talking too long, I'm going to the Latin grocery store to get tortillas and they make an amazing pulled pork taco. I'm craving it for lunch. Dealership get your stuff together!

Hey guys, sorry I've been MIA over the weekend. I had a great labor day weekend, full of good friends, baby stuff and surprises. My sneaky husband and best friend organized a surprise baby shower for me over the weekend. I had no idea the extent of the shenanigans until I walked into my friends house and some of my very best friends from all over the country were sitting in her living room. It's been years since I've seen these people face to face. I was so overwhelmed I couldn't even cry, although if I wasn't so shocked I suspect that would have been my reaction. I couldn't even form words, the first thing I said was "AAAAHHH". Anyway, I am beyond blessed and was showered with so many gifts from my registry. The theme was Mario and you can tell my friend really had a good time organizing and hosting. The brick boxes was a game where the guests (and those who couldn't make it) sent in a copy of their favorite book from their childhood and I had to guess which ones belonged to whom. We had a blast, and I'm now feeling quite good about baby gear. Now I just need to assemble the nursery!

So, we were talking about the TDAP last week, right? I ended up getting it Sunday and was fully expecting my arm to be in pain, but nothing! It was a little sore Sunday night but it was perfectly fine yesterday. I'm pretty relieved.

So frustrated by my hospital/midwife. This whole pregnancy I've been dealing with them not sending claims through insurance. I don't feel like I should have to call up and remind them that, yes, I do have insurance, and yes, they need to send the claims in properly. They say it's an issue with their computer systems, but it's a huge hospital system and a big insurance company - work it out!! Thankfully I pay close attention to bills and have noticed the issues. Just frustrating.

cythe, Love the theme and the surprise shower! That's awesome! mommabakes, That's so frustrating. As if you don't have a million other things to think about while your 735 weeks pregnant. I'm raging for you and I would be an awfully pesky patient if it were me.

How fun for all of those people to come together to celebrate you and baby cythe. Super special day for you, I'm sure! I've been sleeping not-so-great. I had refrained from mentioning that pregsomnia hadn't hit me yet so I didn't jinx myself, but it has hit regardless. I am exhausted! I have to leave work early for my OB appt, and it is just as well because I cannot think hard enough to work on my projects. :/ Last week my OB added an U/S to my appt today so I'm excited to see baby later this afternoon!

Holy crap. Coming back to work after 5 days off is no joke, I feel like I'm drowning in work that seems to all be a "priority." Doesn't help I'm dreaming of maternity leave and lacking in the motivation department.
We had a wonderful Labor Day, lots of good family time and I got so much done for this baby. My biggest accomplishment was moving DS into his big boy room and beginning to clean out/organize the nursery. He was waking once for quick snuggles the first two nights but finally STTN last night. Yay! He pretty much is acting like this is no big deal which is a huge relief.

codex320 my arm didn't hurt any more than a regular shot either. I made sure to run the injection site and move my arm around a bunch after I got it. mommabakes we got a bill from the hospital for one of my triage visits for like $3k. I was there for 3 hours. They had billed my old insurance. Idiots.

Not a lot going on here today, just being lazy with the toddler. It feels like I've pulled a muscle around my inner thigh/groin area, so I have zero motivation to go on a walk today. At least my back pain has subsided since last night, lol.

Sometimes in the afternoons I will drink a ginger ale to have something different than water. Baby either really loves or really hates it lately, judging by the karate kicks going on in my abdomen. They literally hurt but also let me know he's ok, so I'll take it.
