We took DD to the aquarium today for the first time. She had a blast but she was a little scared to get too close to any tanks- we bought a season membership so hopefully she gets over it soon!
Tomorrow we are BBQ'ing with my in-laws, my nephews birthday is Thursday so I'm sure it will be a joint purpose gathering. DD should have fun with her cousins.
Side note: I feel so huge after I eat anything, even a little bit! Carrying DD around after lunch was fun today...

rebeccabunch, we're in the Rocky Mountains for the day. We've been known to get snow in May (and did a few weeks ago). So, basically the North Pole.

Painting cabinets this weekend, no other plans. I feel tired and my belly is really sore. I just feel off.
I'm paranoid that something is wrong with the baby, and am really anxious for my appointments in the next couple of weeks.

Hi! Hi! We drove up to Cleveland yesterday for a small baby shower for one of my HS friends. That was last night. Today we went to the Science Center and met my brother and nephews for play time at a place called The Jump Yard. So fun! DD was just tall enough to play on the inflatables and had a blast. Then we went to dinner. Tomorrow we're visiting more family, and maybe a cookout with friends. We drive home Monday. Busy weekend!! Sounds like a lot of fun weekends! I hope the sick kiddos feel better soon!! Annnnddddd because we're traveling, you're all stuck with alien avatar a little longer.  |

I'd notice it at night when I finally sat down/laid down for the day. Have you felt this with your other kids? I'm not a doctor but trying to throw you some calm. I'd try to chill more the next couple of days. Not sure how you'd do that while painting cabinets though. |

We had such a fun day! A fish hatchery held a family fun day today so I took DS to check it out. They were doing tours and various kid activities. We spent almost two hours there and never even did the crafts, face painting, etc. DS loves pointing out fish at the zoo, so he was in heaven seeing tanks and tanks of them! I took a picnic lunch for us and then we went for a little hike. It has been so fun doing activities like this with him lately!

We had a good time at my nephew's birthday party. They had a ton of water balloons and DS had a blast throwing them. Of course he'd just throw them on the ground right in front of himself, lol. Sometimes he'd even just throw them right back in the bucket.
They also have an old school Nintendo, so we played some Mario 2 and 3. Why are some of the secret doors and whatnot still in my brain? This is why I can never remember anything now.

Today was pretty much a sh*t day... since DD woke me up super early (3:30) I've been tired all day. She woke up at 6 and pretty much had a nonstop tantrum this afternoon. I put her to bed without a bath because I don't have the energy

duskymonkey DS looooooves cars - especially lightning mcqueen. He would probably pee his pants with excitement too! Hope you guys had fun! @gamegirl YES to that choc chip cookie dough! I am so jealous. mommabakes Hugs about the paranoia and sore belly - I get those thoughts a lot too. How much longer until your next appointment?

Our Memorial Day weekend is trucking along...the last of our possessions were packed up and moved away from the bug-infested condo today. Wohoo! It's so nice not to have to worry about our things getting destroyed. We sadly lost everything in DS' room - all the furniture and a lot of his toys had to be trashed  Our renter's insurance should cover the replacement cost, so that's good at least. The rest of the weekend, we're just going to chill and take it easy. House hunting begins on Tuesday and DH will be Mr. House Hunter International (since I'm on bedrest and can't go with him to look at places). I'm sure he'll do a great job and take lots of good video/pics for me  |

I've had a headache for the last 24 hours. It'll feel better for a little bit, but never quite goes away. I've tried everything. I'm no fun right now.

Taitai sorry about DS things. Hopefully your H finds a wonderful place for you all. Will this be your permanent home abroad for quite a awhile? blackmamba sorry about the headache. I have no remedies. I tend to avoid taking too much while pregnant. Coke and Tylenol was recommended last pregnancy but even then it doesn't always do the trick. It seems like it will be pretty nice here today so DD is all about playing outside again. She's outside with H right now and I'm contemplating closing my eyes for just a minute in the peace and quiet and seeing if I can't get a quick nap out of it.

blackmamba Boo, headaches that linger are the worst. Have you tried doing some neck stretches? Try looking on Google. If you are holding a lot of tension in your upper shoulders/neck, that can sometimes contribute to annoying headaches. I would recommend pressure points to you as well, but a lot of them are contraindicated during pregnancy. Also, go get a massage. ; ) Hope you feel some relief soon!

I was told it has to do with all the extra blood we have pumping through our bodies while pregnant. Fresh air, Tylenol (too bad it can't something stronger) caffeine, laying down, no one bothering me (hmmmm) etc. usually help me. Love the massage suggestion from gamergirl. |

Our party was fun. No one broke down (my niece was very upset when she learned DS was going to be a boy, lol) and the food was all good. Now I'm trying to relax, but DS isn't having any of it.

Thanks for all the tips. I've been seeing a physical therapist due to tension in my head and neck, but headaches have been more frequent with the pregnancy. I'm going to do some stretches tonight. I got some air and I'm feeling a bit better. Just drove out to Montauk to see the view and now going to eat.

danvers Yep - whatever place DH finds will be our new permanent home...at least as long as we stay in this country. Hopefully 2-3 more years (we've already been here for 3+ yrs) Hope you were able to get some quiet time while DD and DH were occupied outside!

DD's fever finally broke today! I was inspired by the baby clothes sorting post (sorry, forgot who OP'd) so I started that task today. Got most of it done, just need to sort LO's close by age and take inventory of the stuff I'm donating for tax purposes. Should be all wrapped up tomorrow!
It's supposed to be nice here tomorrow morning so I'm trying to figure out what we'll do. Maybe just a long walk to the park.

I separated them by size so each bin is its own size but it's taking forever since I'll be selling them at a Just Between Friends sale and you have to put in all the information into their tagging system (which takes forever).

I'm not doing a second shower because all we really need is clothes and diapers (and a crib/dresser but we will buy that like we did for DD). |
