I got yelled at today by the checkout lady at Home Depot. I normally take issue with people making pregnancy comments to me like, mind your own business. But this was actually funny. She was legit concerned that I lifted three bags of mulch into my cart and called over another staff member to make sure I had help out to my car. Lol.

Ugh, I was up early today too, not quite as early as you guys but 6am on a holiday when my kid was at a sleepover suuucccked. DH and I spent the morning organizing DD's big girl room and setting up the nursery. DD will keep sleeping in the nursery until Friday but it was good to get all the work done since I'm working extra this week!

rebeccabunch, I saw that news this morning! Kate was pregnant during my last pregnancy as well, lol. You all have been so productive this weekend; I need to take a lesson from you all. With an EDD of 10/1, I should be ahead of most of you but I'm definitely not! I need to get in gear. We did meet with our doula today to finalize our birth plan, so there's that....

We surprisingly got everything done in the nursery that we planned to do this weekend and I am beat. A few weeks ago it was a room storing a bunch of stuff and it is well on its way to being a nursery now! Just need to paint the trim and the closet, then we can start furnishing. Whew!

Looks great arimaythea! Our house painting and floor refinishing starts tomorrow, and will take about a week. I am thrilled to not have to paint rooms in the new house. Lol

arimaythea, looks great! That is similar to the color in DS's room. Timeless and goes with anything.

Well our day started off on the wrong side of the bed! DS woke up and was basically an ass After crying for a good half hour because we wouldnt allow him to put his toys on the kitchen counter ( which he knows he isn't allowed to ) he finally came around wanting to help whilst I ignored him getting my waffle batter measured out but he screwed up my batter by pouring in my egg whites so I had to "fix" it and since the ratio was off, the waffles didn't rise much and the first batch got stuck in the waffle iron. So breakfast was late but we still had waffles even though meh! and he actually was agreeable and stuffed his face all on his own which is a rarity so that made up for his whining first thing in the am. I am impressed with all of your painting skills! Hubs still has to paint the walls of our office yet! At least the ceiling is done and I think I mentioned that I really really hate textured walls! It eats paint for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The room isn't big and thought 1G + 1/4G of primer would cover the entire room but nope, ran out yesterday evening so hubs had to run out this am to get another bucket of primer and that killed his schedule.

August Blooms, the viennese whirls looks so delicious and I've never tried one but will one day! Did they do a bakewell tart the last episode? I love anything with frangipane. Bummer about being GF. I was GF for many years a long time ago due to EBV from being so run down from work, grad school and life stresses. I did notice a huge difference in my level of energy between GF and getting enough exercise so that was a positive and I learnt a big lesson in taking care of myself. There are so much more options these days unlike 10+ yrs ago, it was tough being GF. I did find that I could tolerate Spelt and have slowly added wheat back into my diet but I don't consume much of it on a daily basis...just in desserts or cakes! I cannot live without them!

duskymonkey I just finished episode 2, it's airing on local to me network from the beginning. So I've been watching it as episodes become available. I've been eating GF for almost 5 years, there are way more options and better tasting options now then when I started. I've had a few relapses but always regret it and go back. Baked good is one of the most difficult things to give up.
