So my 3-month-old has ringworm in his diaper area. Does anyone have any experience with ringworm and cloth diapering? The pediatrician didn't think that we would have to do anything different with our wash routine, although she said putting them in the dryer rather than line-drying might be better. And what about Lotrimin? Will that affect the diapers at all? We use cotton fitteds/prefolds as well as Kawaii pocket diapers - I think the P&Ns have synthetic inner layer and bamboo ones say 100% bamboo inner layer.

What I would do is cut some liners to lay in between your child's skin where the lotrimin will be & the diaper. You can grab some cheap cotton at JoAnn's or cut up old tshirts.

The lotrimin shouldn't hurt the diapers at all, I've used it many times.
Bc ringworm is a fungus, I would be tempted to add 1/4 cup bleach or TTO/GFSE to the wash.

Google basically says to launder clothing as usual to kill the fungus (the hotter the water the better), but I agree with TJ that I would want to use some bleach just to be extra careful.

Thanks everyone! I don't want to be dealing with ringworm for any longer than necessary so being extra (edit: posted too soon) careful sounds like a good plan.
