enchanted - I hope you're okay. Anything you want to talk about? We're here for you, friend. Age: 4 Milestones: She started in her pre-K class this week and she's doing great! The teachers have complimented her on her independence and how quickly she's picked up on things. Challenges: Routine. We've been thrown off with summer vacation a couple weeks ago and sleepovers and fun and... OMG, is summer over yet?! Funny/cute stories: J wants us to be Trolls for Halloween. Specifically, she wants to be the one that farts glitter. How are you? Meh. Surviving. Anything else? Not really. Just ready for cool, fall weather. QOTW: Anything coloring related. She loves crayons and watercolors especially.

You are not a monster. You are a mom who is doing her best. You've been dealt quite a few blows recently. Go easy on yourself, and talking to someone can make a difference. Huge {{hugs}}, friend.

Age: 2.75 years
Milestones: 80% potty trained! Just in pull ups for naps, nighttime and car rides since my commute is an hour long.
Challenges: Determined to potty on grass. Refusing to go to bed without a fit. Once asleep he's fine until morning, but that bedtime hysterics part sucks.
Funny/cute stories: We took him swimming at his grandfather's Sunday. His 3 year old cousin was also there and sat on steps with grandma. H and grandfather were in the pool with LO. I was sitting with cousin's mom drinking wine. Cousin wouldn't go in water, complained about his face getting wet. LO swam over with an outstretched hand and said,"I just wanna hold your hand." Everyone aw'd and I frantically tried to swallow my wine fast as LO pulled cousin into the water. Oops.
How are you? Good, sad summer is mostly over.
Anything else? Nothing much.
QOTW: What is your child's favorite toy? Any sort of truck-digger, front loader, dump truck-he loves trucks. And trains.
