mwhip & cagoldi I know I'm early but if I want to order stuff from the us I needs to take a few weeks shipping into consideration. Plus with all the things going on, I need something stupid to take my mind of things and party planning is my go to 😉.

I always thought bunting was the banners ppl put on windows on 4th of July- the red white and blue ones. I mean it can be any color or for any reason, but that's just an example of what "bunting" is. We use that term here in the States too Or at least I do......

nam2013, I bet Etsy would be a good spot to check! Good idea. I bet you can get some printable things and then you wouldn't have to wait for shipping (or worry about it). ETA I see I was a little late on this one

I don't care to get it and ship it.

wineallthetime for once I wanted to just order stuff instead of DIY-Ing... Well darn, I was going to suggest doing a bunch of plain, bright colored (green, red, blue, yellow) decoration and then adding a few DIY sesame street touches. But I totally understanding just wanting to order something instead!

I'm pretty sure I read something a while ago that target ships globally. You have to use the international target site, and I don't know if they'll have what you want, but that's a more affordable way to get paper goods and what not.

Question ds wants a Sesame Street birthday party, which is fine with me, weren't it for the fact that apparently in holland Sesame Street is not a 'thing' for party's. Any ideas where I can get some stuff online that would ship to Europe? As the board procastinator, I'm in awe that you're already discussing bday parties! I should get my shit together. HA! MH asked E what kind of party he wanted last night. I don't even remember the response. I also thought, are you throwing him a party or committing me to one? I must say I was relieved when we had a playdate last week and his friend's mom basically said she only does immediate family parties and no elaborate ones. I don't know anyone else local that doesn't throw a huge party

Sunny41, this will be our first year for a "friend" party. I'm a bit anxious about it. What if no one comes? ???

When N was born I told myself we wouldn't do big birthday parties every year, but I just can't help myself! She has already been telling me for months she wants a Rapunzel party this year, which seems odd since she has very little interest in Rapunzel. So of course I already have a pinterest board of ideas.

Morning ladies, I've been in the office for 2hrs and still waiting for other people to show up so I can get stuff started. I hate relying on others that have very different schedules.
Tomorrow is PJ day at school. E wears gym shorts and too small tshirts to bed. Not sure what I will do about this. I do have some white bicycle print joggers that I bought him last year on clearance but it might be too hot for that

No huge party here. We are going to do an immediate family party and then a separate friend "play date". For the playdate we'll just do pizza (I think), dessert, adult beverages and then maybe a little craft/game. No gifts. We aren't inviting anyone from daycare, just his friends in our neighborhood and our friends kids that C is friends with.

Last year Josie told me she wanted a picnic themed birthday party. I was all over it – Food connected, cake ideas, decorations. Then about a month before her actual birthday she told me she wanted Peppa Pig and she wasn't changing her mind. So that's what we did. This year all she's been talking about is having a "Josie's lemonade stand" party. I have, again, really great ideas, but I'm pretty sure a month before she'll change her mind. So I have a list in my phone of the things we'll need, but I'm not ordering anything till October because I'm pretty sure she'll change her mind to something like rainbows and unicorns or Nella the Princess Knight

He did end up being a pumpkin for Halloween, but switched the birthday party to firetrucks. I still have a pumpkin birthday Pinterest board!

As the board procastinator, I'm in awe that you're already discussing bday parties! I should get my shit together. I'm having X's party Saturday and still haven't decided what I'm cooking... I did B's 1st birthday 2 days before. Menu, cake, decorations, everything. The only thing I did ahead of time was send out the invitations. I also didn't really do a theme. I mean, I got a cake that had some sesame street characters on it, so I got a sesame street balloon and a few plates that matched but that's all. I'm not super into themes for the birthdays until the kids are old enough to ask for it. S asked me the other day if he could have a Star Wars birthday so maybe that's what we'll do for him. Whatever we do, I doubt I'll do much planning till the last minute
