Ive been trying to keep up here but we have been so busy. The boys have had orientations and school meetings, plus school shopping, the toddler has had doctor appointments and his annual allergy testing is coming up. Plus trying to get things ready for baby, which has taken a backseat. I'm running thin.

I love fall. I need to start getting my fall/ Halloween decorations out probably. I've been dealing with a lot of headaches lately and google was/ is making me a little worried but I'm hoping it is just tension or allergies or something causing them and not anything more serious. I have my next OB appt on Wednesday and hopefully I can get some reassurances then. I cannot wait to decorate. I attempt to wait until 10/1 for the Halloween stuff but fall stuff starts going up in September lol. Are you drinking enough water? That's always my go-to when I have headaches or anything.

You know when someone mentions bugs and you get that itchy feeling even though there is no real reason for you to be itchy? Well last night, while I wasn't sleeping, my mind drifted to all sorts of anxious thoughts. Mainly if I would get cholestasis again and go into preterm labor. The main symptom is itching, so of course I've felt mildly itchy since. I'm pretty sure it's all in my head, but the annoying part of my brain is all, "But what if it isn't?" I have an OB appt tomorrow and I'm waffling about whether to tell her or not, lest I be mistaken (haha) for a crazy person. Definatly bring it up! If only just to ease your mind! I hope it's nothing though! I get itchy so bad right in the middle of my back where I can't reach. Total torture.

Weather here has been nice and cold. I've been lucky that this summer has been awfully cold. Everyone is complaining but me 😂

Did you end up going away on your trip quinn? I can't remember what you decided! Sorry for the 1 hour test fail roloma I hope you pass the 3 hour!! My girls weekend away was pretty good, nice and relaxing. Except that my friend had to bring her 5 year old son. She did last year too and it was totally fine, but man, apparently 5 is not a good age for him! So much yelling/whining/crying, doing things he's not supposed to etc. It would have been much more relaxing without him this year! Everyone was like "yeah, well get used to it" and I'm like "no, my DH doesn't get a choice, he'll have to stay home with the kid one weekend a year"

blabbermouth no we didn't and I'm so happy we made that choice! So much more has popped up since then that we needed the cash for and to be here. We definitely made the right decision and H has thanked me multiple times lol

quinn this conversation was, for the most part, almost comical. It definitely helped that MH was there calling her out on everything she was trying to say.

Oh good quinn! Peace of mind for you AND DH agreed. Amazing! My weekend away ended up being pretty cheap, I think I spent less than $150 for accommodations and food. That's one nice thing about travelling without DH (or kids for that matter), you spend about half as much!

It definitely helped that MH was there calling her out on everything she was trying to say. that's good that he's on your side and you don't have to fight her on your own. I would make it obnoxiously clear to the nurses that she isn't allowed until you say so lol she so seems like the type that would sneak in 😂

I just came on a little strong with one of the new teachers at my school. I taught the kids she has for two years so I was giving her the lowdown but they're sooooooo needy. It took forever. I apologized after and I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm extra.
I'll just pretend the baby makes me crazy.

I started reading oh crap potty training yesterday. I'm both amused and horrified by some of the stuff that I thought I was doing right but is actually not helpful. I know one book doesn't make the author an expert and every kid is different, but she definitely seems to have worked with my kid before. We will start potty training on Saturday and fingers crossed ds responds well. I'm prepared to keep him home an extra day to make sure everything sticks. I started potty training last week with 2.5 year old. It was Hell. She is so stubborn. This is the second attempt. But it seems to have stuck now thank goodness. Except now she only wants to pee outside and not actually on a toilet. 🤷🏼♀️ I consider it a win still.

I had a mini meltdown last night in front of my husband. I just can't deal with the kids all day, clean the house and do everything else. Apparently he called his mom last night and she came Over this morning to help me with the kids which in reality turned into her cleaning my whole house. I am so thankful. I just can't do much. It's just going to get worse. But I was beyond overwhelmed with everything. So this was amazing.

I'm sorry roloma. just keep in mind it isn't anything you did. GD happens solely because of pregnancy related factors. I'm sorry you have to do the 3 hour though.

Headache and eye problems (vision changes/spots etc) are a big red flag to minimally call the MD about. Not trying to give out medical advice by any means or be a nervous nelly. Just wanted to let you know. Hopefully it's just allergies and you feel better soon!!

I feel ya cdnfarmgirl. It's hard for me to accept that I just physically cannot do the things that I'm used to. It's too exhausting and more activity = more excruciating back pain, BH, etc. for me. Be kind to yourself. I'm glad that your DH called your MIL, and it's so nice of her to help out!

I feel like my eyes are bothering me too. I hope the allergy medicine helps ... I had to stop wearing my contacts last pregnancy because they were bothering me so much. I've almost exclusively switched to glasses at this point and it's made a huge difference this pregnancy. The shape of my eye actually changed so my contacts were no longer fitting properly. Not sure if that's what you could mean by bothering you though. Contact lens issues can also cause headaches too because your eyes may be straining.

I have had that before with migraines so I was wondering if I was dealing with that. Anyway, I am planning on calling the doctor if that happens again before Wednesday. I don't think I have high blood pressure or anything like that with it.
