It was a typo, but I'm leaving it. What do you like to smother your bae in?
Just kidding. What's your preferred brand of barbecue sauce to purchase? We used to get it homemade from a friend, but don't anymore.
Alas.

We like Sweet Baby Ray's. They have different varieties, I usually get Honey BBQ.

I third Sweet Baby Ray's. Even DH who doesn't like barbeque sauce likes it. We also like Bull's Eye original.

I really like Carolina gold from Trader Joe's. Also, making your own is really easy. A lot of bottled sauces are just so much HFCS.

This is an interesting question. Do you like a tomato based sauce? Mustard? Vinegar? Sweet? Spicy? So many choices.....
For straight store bought sauce: Tomato based - Sweet Baby Rays or Dinosaur BBQ brand Mustard - Carolina Gold from TJ's
R1 makes a good mustard sauce and a vinegar based sauce that is pretty simple.
I also have the Dinosaur BBQ cookbook which has a great recipe for sauce in it. You can freeze it, or probably can it. I can pass that along if you'd like.

The one we were always given was tomato based with maple syrup as a sweetener (New York State syrup, but I forgave it because it was delicious). We don't use BBQ sauce a ton, anyway, but it's nice to have on hand. I've never even heard of Dinosaur BBQ. I think I'm gonna find a good sauce recipe to can, specifically!

Dinosaur BBQ is a yummy place in Syracuse, NY - at least that is the original location. For a Texas girl living in upstate NY, it was pretty darn good.
