I got my first "wow, you look like you are about to pop" comment today. 🙄Lol lady. I am only halfway there. I told her nope I am just huge because I am fat. Then I grabbed my pizza at target. The best part is that she told me she is 2mo pregnant with her first and she said she felt huge already. I really wanted to say "just wait, you'll see how you feel at 9mo" but I am not that kind of person. I am perfectly content knowing I am right without saying anything.

How would a pregnant lady not know better!?!?!?!?

How would a pregnant lady not know better!?!?!?!? She was pretty young and I am assuming it's her first because of the way she said she feels. She was working at the Pizza Hut at target and I think she thought she was being polite. She will see how she feels when people start doing it to her and realize how wrong she was. 🤷🏻♀️

Happy pre-Friday! I got out of work super early today so went to spend time with DS at my parents' house. He's watching the Yankees on my dad's lap and loving every second of it. So cute. I think I'm going to break down and find out the sex at my A/S on Tuesday. I'm weak 😉 maddisonrose sorry for the weirdness at your scan! marygracerich I hate that people think it's totally fine to say whatever pops into their little heads about your body when you're pregnant. And also that they think they can touch you... WTAF. Love how you handled it - I hope she realized she was a jack ass 😉

clm585 thanks. I usually get the "how far along are you?" Comment even when I am not pregnant. My usual response is "not pregnant, just fat." That shuts people down quickly. I am believe if people can make rude comments, I am allowed to make them uncomfortable. 😊

Good afternoon!
I went to a friend's this morning to visit her newborn, and another friend came over and brought lunch so we ended up staying. Between the 3 of us we have 8 kids, the oldest ones being 4, so they kept each other busy busy!
Anyway, got home to a referral in the mail for a consultation appointment with a pediatrics plastic surgeon for DS. 😳 Say what? The ENT saw a mucous cleft in his throat and said he was going to refer him to a speech therapist, but after a little dr googling today I'm wondering if the speech therapist referred him to a surgeon first because it looks like that's the common thing to do with this type of cleft.
So, anyway, that took me by surprise. I see my family doctor on Monday who originally referred him to the ENT so I'm going to ask her what info she got sent and if this sounds right.
So, I'm just kind of feeling..strange. Neither of my kids have never had surgery before. This is just a consultation appointment, so maybe they'll rule out needing it done but, I guess we'll see.

Hugs, mama. DS has had 2 surgeries and it's not fun but he needed them and did just fine!

Thanks helloerrbody ❤ kids are tough, tougher than our mama hearts are lol. I'm feeling bad for him because he's tired of doctors this summer. I know it's not a lot lot and some kids are really sick all the time, but at the end of June he took an ambulance to the hospital with breathing issues, July he had his 4 year check up, last week he saw an ENT, and this week he had his 4 year immunization since he couldn't get it in July while he was on antibiotics from his hospital trip, plus his sisters and my regular checkups thrown in, and he told me yesterday he was sad and didn't want to see any more doctors, and I told him he's all done for awhile (not knowing I was getting this letter) It's all necessary, but still tugs at my heart and I understand it being draining at 4.
