I'm impressed with all the early morning runners! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Nothing new here. Garth Brooks tickets for my area go on sale at 10 am tomorrow. I'm in charge of buying them for my group of friends so I'm stressing about getting good seats. I will be sitting there hitting refresh until I'm able to buy. All seats are the same price and you get best available when you buy 😬

X was wearing a 3T shirt this morning. I know he's about to start slowing down a lot but this is bananas. Dude wasn't wearing 3T until around 16 months. Whaaaaat?!! But he's just a baby!

sands42 When Garth Brooks tickets went on sale in KC, they ended up adding 5 more shows, besides the 2 already scheduled, because of such high demand. Good luck! The arena he played holds 19k! Mind boggling to me that so many people from this area went.

guster B has a solid-colored LLBean lunch bag. I know you said it's for your H, but this could totally work for an adult. It's held up for 2 years now and still looks brand new; he's using it again this year. That's actually what he purchases every year, but he was looking for something a little bit bigger. I ordered an instaginx one for him.

I want to make a treat for X to take to school for his birthday.
Pretty sure a lot of the moms won't want their infants eating cupcakes.
Fruit salad, oatmeal cookies, and maybe banana muffins are my ideas.
Anyone have other suggestions?

Also hi! The winning Powerball ticket was sold the town over from where I grew up. Pretty sure my sister actually worked at that gas station for a short time. Sigh...

Right now I'm batch cooking some lentil meatloaf and sweet potato/almond butter muffins for X.
I'm not optimistic because the other lentil meatloaf recipes I've tried were horrible. FX this one is a winner.

Like the 3T shirt fits perfectly but 3T pants would be too long. He went to school in 2T pants.

wineallthetime the 2T seem about the right length for the pants. The 3T shirts are right for covering his belly. Yes, mostly for width. IDK what he weighs now but he was around 27 pounds at 9 months. I have his check-up Monday so we'll find out then.

B was definitely in 24 mo. at a year old; I think he moved into 2T that winter sometime. 3T seems HUGE. C has been at the top of the growth charts percentile-wise and at her 6 mo. appt was 30+ " tall and 20ish lbs. That was almost 4 mo. ago so I'm sure she's grown, but she's still fitting in some 12 mo. stuff and 18 mo. is still a bit large. We go for her 9-mo appointment in another week or so (MOTY...a month late) so I'll be interested to see where she's at.

flamingo, wow! Curious what she is at her next appointment. I think she'll have beat my 16 month old L C was always a bit short and chunky and L is tall and lanky so it's funny to look at their different sizes.

I'm thinking about buying E size 6 pants...5 is either too tight in the waist and bottom (girl has my body) or too short.
How is my 3 year old almost in size 6???

C had been wearing 3t bottoms and I just put a pair of shorts on him yesterday and they were skin tight and short. He REALLY wanted to still wear them but he looked so ridiculous and it looked so uncomfortable!

How is X's size compared to A now cagoldi? Just curious of you think he will catch up to or be bigger than A. C started out as such a big baby, that I was sure he would be the same size as B by now. His growth seems to have slowed down though. Although they are only one shoe size off from each other. 😳

His growth seems to have slowed down though. Although they are only one shoe size off from each other. 😳 X is definitely bigger. IIRC, Dude was around 27 pounds on his first birthday. He seems to be running 3-4 months ahead of A at this point. I think that eventually X will be bigger. He seems to be taking after my side. I know it's hard to tell this young but he seems to have a thicker build. My dad is only 6'1" but his brothers are all 6'2"-6'4". I've always heard that younger kids are usually taller than their older siblings. I can dig up an article on it if I need to...one sec. ETA: nope. My link I saved to a Genetics write up isn't working and PubMed has a study from 2013 saying the opposite. So who knows. ETA 2: kids who don't drink cow's milk usually grow more slowly since they aren't being exposed to IGF-1. So at some point I expect he might grow slower than his peers (they catch up later) but that should be true for both of them since neither drink cow's milk.

That's interesting, cagoldi. Chase now is the size Colin was around 9-10 months, but who knows in the long run? Colin's growth has slowed WAY down in the last year or so. He's still taller than average but he's thinned out quite a bit. And really, it doesn't matter in the slightest. Despite his size, Colin has always been easily intimidated by new places and people. Chase stomped right through a maze of 4 year olds (who towered over him) yesterday to get through his brother, didn't bother him in the slightest.
