How far along are you? 32 weeks 2 days
Any concerns? How are you feeling? Nothing really unexpected for being 32 weeks pregnant. All the usual symptoms.
What kind of appointment? Midwife checkup
How did it go? Quick and easy! Everything checked out fine this week.
Any feels/vents/etc? I was super nervous going into this appointment because I had been gaining 5-8 lbs between them, and it had been 3 weeks since my last one (2 of which were vacation). I fully expected to break 200 lbs for the first time. By some miracle however, I only gained 1 lb in those three weeks. I'll accept that as a win and the 200 lb mark will have to wait for another appointment, I guess!
Next appointment: 2 weeks for 34 week midwife checkup

How far along are you? 33+3
Any concerns? How are you feeling? Feeling basically as expected. Hoping for cooler temps soon.
What kind of appointment? Midwife check up
How did it go? Mostly good. Baby had measured perfectly up until yesterday. Now he is measuring 3 weeks (fundal height) ahead, so if he is still measuring ahead at my next appt, I'll be getting an u/s to check things out.
Any feels/vents/etc? Really hoping baby isn't a giant. Happy with my weight gain-midwife actually told me I need to gain back a couple of pounds that I had lost.
Learn anything new? Baby is no longer breech! Hope he continues to stay head down.
Next appointment: 2 weeks

I had an appt yesterday, at 34+2. I don't know if I've mentioned it but my OB moved my date early on but I don't agree with her. So according to her, yesterday I was 35+2. I had the GBS swab and a cervical check. I anticipated those at my appt next week when she would have me at 36+2. Not a huge deal, I guess, she said baby is head down but not too low. This felt like a huge reality check regarding how close we are. Oy.
Do STM+ get checked earlier? Anyone know?
I remember getting a quick US around 36 weeks last time so I'm hoping to get a peak at baby next week....

How far along are you? 30 weeks
Any concerns? How are you feeling? I'm okay. Sciatic pain has been really bothering me lately.
What kind of appointment? sono and doc
How did it go? It was good. Baby is measuring fine, still head down. At the end of the sono, the tech goes lets see if we could get a good 3D pic. What? why is this the first time I'm hearing about this?? She goes oh we only try if the baby is in a good position, which makes sense because my DS was super uncooperative in the womb and I never got a regular sono pic.
Learn anything new? In two weeks I start NST, sono and doc every week. Also they'll let me try a VBAC but not after 39 weeks. Someone from surgery scheduling will call me to reserve a csection time. So definitely no Halloween baby for DH.

What kind of appointment? OB checkup and paperwork for my leave.
How did it go?
Any feels/vents/etc?

How far along are you? 34 weeks
Any concerns? How are you feeling? No concerns, feeling pretty good!
What kind of appointment? Regular OB. Measured and listened to HB.
How did it go? Good, baby girl is measuring just over 33 and HB was in the 150s.
Any feels/vents/etc? No, just feels like time is flying by.
Learn anything new? Nope
Next appointment: In 2 weeks. I also scheduled the rest of my appointments up to 39 weeks, since it'll be weekly after that and my OB books up quickly.

I'll come back and do a full update after my routine bit, but I just wanted to say thanks for all the kind words and well wishes for my growth scan over the last 2 weeks.
Ev is measuring right at 4.5 pounds and a day ahead, at 33 weeks so she's just perfect! Definitely looks like she's running out of room in there, and was passed out the whole u/s with her hand against her face. 😍

How far along are you? 9w!
Any concerns? How are you feeling? I'm still nervous because, hey, I have a history. Also I spotted this morning. Plz get first tri over with T^T
What kind of appointment? First OB appt
How did it go? Pretty well! We got to see/hear the babe's heartbeat (185bpm!) and schedule all the fun bloodwork jazz. I have to have an early glucose test in addition to the one in third tri *cries*. Also, because I have a history of hypertension, I get to start baby aspirin at 12w, so yay for more pills *ultimate sarcasm*
Any feels/vents/etc? My OB very highly recommends against a home birth for me (and basically for everyone, which I feel is kind of fear-tactic-y), but I do understand that I have risk factors that would make anyone nervous about not having immediate access to care. As much as I would absolutely love to fight on the homebirth thing, I know it's important to be practical and reasonable. It's not something MrRama and I have taken off the table, but he's already leaning toward having a hospital birth, too. We said we'd wait and see how the pregnancy goes and figure it out later. I'm still planning to do hospital tours and registration and all that jazz, so I've definitely not made up my mind yet. But it is one thing that weighs on me.
Learn anything new? I don't get to see the babe for, like, 10 weeks. Anatomy scan. CRIES A LOT. It's going to be a hard road to early November.
Next appointment: September 25th. Just a monthly OB appt.

Great update Rama! I'm sorry about the home birth. Is there a way to compromise and do a birthing center or something?

How far along are you? 32+2
Any concerns? How are you feeling? So grateful I am having a boring pregnancy after having a somewhat dramatic/scary one with DS.
What kind of appointment? Regular OB + Growth Scan
How did it go? Good! Fluid levels are good, BP good, and baby girl is measuring a little ahead at 4.5 lbs on the dot. 65th percentile. So by our calcs she could be 6-6.5 lbs by 37 weeks. We should be getting a call from the hospital to schedule our c! And they do the pre-surgery screening by phone thank goodness so I don't have to haul butt down to the hospital.
Any feels/vents/etc? Just getting nervous, everything is getting so close!
Learn anything new? They said staying on baby aspirin right up to delivery is just fine and shouldn't cause problems. They do GBS screening for planned C's because if our water breaks, we need antibiotics stat, even if we go straight to an emergency C afterwards.
Next appointment: 2 weeks, regular OB appt.

Great update Rama ! I'm sorry about the home birth. Is there a way to compromise and do a birthing center or something? I'm not sure if the hospital I'm going to specifically has a birthing center, but most of the ones in-network don't. They don't have a contract with the hospital that I know does have a birthing center anymore. Whatever we choose, it'll be fine. I just don't like being bullied into a choice, it makes me want to be contrary.

How far along are you? 32+6
Any concerns? How are you feeling? Nope, feeling good. I asked my doc about me feeling full 24/7 and she thought it might be reflux related so she wants me to take meds every day for at least a week to see if it helps.
What kind of appointment? Growth Scan and OB
How did it go? Great, baby is measuring perfect and I gained 3 pounds bringing me back to 1 shy of what I was a month ago.
Any feels/vents/etc? Just feeling relieved, and happy that I can stop force feeding myself. Doc said as long as I feel fine, baby is growing well so keep on.
Learn anything new? Not really, just that everything is right on track. Oh, and that my OB cannot do maths before lunch on a Friday.
Next appointment: Sept 6? 7th? One of those is my meet and greet with the pedi, the other is my last 😰 bi-weekly appt.

How far along are you? 33+5
Any concerns? How are you feeling? Last pregnancy I was on hospital bed rest at this point, so I'm happy I'm not there, but I will admit it was comforting being in that setting 24/7 should anything go south rapidly. My biggest fear is developing the severe pre-e symptoms and being so far from the hospital.
What kind of appointment? NST/Growth Scan & repeat lab work
How did it go? Fine. Baby is measuring 61st percentile. 5.5lbs
Any feels/vents/etc? I will feel great when I get past 34+2 since that's when I delivered DD. Any day after that is one more extra day baby gets to grow inside.
Learn anything new? No
Next appointment: Next Friday. NST/BPP then a regular OB appointment.

So I've been lurking around...silently observing. Every time I clear my browser history it kicks me back out. So it is a slight annoyance to have to try to remember to log back in.
But.....here goes....
So. Here's my update.
Things have been slightly interesting around the SSM household lately. We spent Tuesday evening in triage for rising bp to 159/106 for 2.5hrs even while resting.
31wk+5days Official Gestational hypertension diagnosis Currently stable, but knowing my protein numbers are rising from my original numbers. Pree could and will likely happen. Just when is the question. Weekly visits Weekly growth and bpp scans Weekly (I think) bloodwork
Goal is still 37wks. In my head it is my long range goal. My short range goal is 34. I want to avoid the permanent hospitalization if at all possible. Knowing that if something changes to being severe between now and 34, automatic hospitalization until 34wks and then delivery If it changes after 34wks, automatic delivery (If I remember correct, because of the bp diagnosis, automatic delivery at 37 anyways)
So yeah...just monitoring And more monitoring right now. My bp does spike and has been sustaining higher levels, but it does usually come back down.

ssm So sorry you are going through all of this Big hugs and I will be keeping everything crossed for you to make it to 37 weeks, and if that is not possible - at least until 34 weeks. Has there been any discussion about giving you steroids at this point?

ssm sounds like we're in the same boat. Are you on BP meds? Not at this point. For the most part, it is staying 135-145/90-100. and sometimes lower. I hope my scans next week don't show iugr. She is hopeful because I am measuring a little ahead. So hopefully he is growing still and we aren't in trouble that way. She said this is just what pree does. It spikes bp and then your body catches up and regulates. And then spikes again and reregulates. Just one day it won't be able to reregulate and that's when it is an issue. Currently, I'm able to reregulate. So I hope it stays that way! I've been thinking of you and stalking you and your updates. Are you still able to wait until 37? For some reason I thought I had seen something saying you would have to go earlier?

Nothing is really being limited. Just monitored.
