mrspiatt that sounds so frustrating!! You should charge back all The takeout/restaurant food you have to eat because you can't use the kitchen.

Wow— I can't believe you're already half way though this pregnancy, hiimjamie! Is Jake excited? I don't think he fully gets it. He's definitely been interested in babies. There's this one baby at Daycare, Hailey, and he knows her name and always talks to her there. He showed her to me haha. We have the brother book for him and talk about the baby all the time. We always tell him there's a baby in my belly. I can't wait until I'm far enough along for him to be able to feel/see the baby move. Maybe he'll understand more then.

I'm just sitting on the beach reading. Poppy is napping on top of me. I got a good beach run in this morning followed by some laps in the pool. (My parents' house is part of an HOA with shared pool access.) I definitely can't complain!

mrspiatt, that sounds so frustrating! But yes, you should NOT be cleaning up anything that can be contaminated. Stay away from that part of the house. Take out, curb side pick up and delivery are your friends and trusted sources for food right now. Do not take the chance with this - if i was pregnant, i'd rather eat deli meat cold and unpasteurized cheese before dealing with asbestos.

Most of the clean up I did was before they mentioned asbestos- I've definitely tried to keep away since that was mentioned.

Allison just got her head stuck in the ballet bars at class this morning. Fortunately with 4 of us we were able to get her out just before the fire department was called.

Also- I called Mercury to inquire about what is covered in our renters insurance policy... it apparently lapsed in 8/3- I swear I never saw a notice. FML

I think my supervisor hates me. So. Much. Work. I also think I'm going to go broke feeding my almost 4 year old. He will not stop eating! It's seriously every 20 minutes.

Whoa, mrspiatt, what the heck happened at your place? hiimjamie, wow halfway! So exciting! We went swimming with some friends and I ended up holding the 3-week-old baby that was there for a bit and I was pleased that E was cool with me holding another baby. coconutbacon, sounds like a great day! CestLaVie, is it you getting surgery soon? Or am I mixing up people? When is it? I saw that outfit you posted on the fashion thread and I was thinking you'll be able to wear chunky cable knit soon that looks good! jedi, how is the little critter situation at your house going? Not the same at all but I walked downstairs last night after getting E to sleep and was like "is there a window open?" and DH said no, apparently there was a cricket hiding out in our den somewhere but he couldn't find him! Stinker. (bug, not DH) We're adjusting back OK. Did a 6am run to the grocery store to pick up a few things and then stopped by my sister's house for a bit and then had a pool play date. Not much else going on today. It's cloudy here but I don't think it is supposed to rain. Anyone thinking about going to Iceland with the kids....go! It is so child/family friendly, it is awesome. Lots of fun stuff. E had a great time hiking and being carried (we just used the Ergo, carrying him on the back) on the longer/more challenging hikes. We saw lots of cool waterfalls, did some fun swimming in hot springs, hiked along glaciers, saw geysers and puffins and cool rock formations. We had a blast. Our itinerary was just to stay in the southwest portion of the country and we were just there 6 days but I feel like you could totally go for like 3 weeks and see more of the country (if you are able to take time off work, etc.). The weather was gorgeous and yes, the sights were packed with tourists but it was never a problem. This is their high season. Food was crazy expensive but we knew it going in and were ready for that. If anyone has specific questions, let me know. I will try to post a couple pics later! Hi everyone else!

Thank you everyone for the thoughts. I'm glad we opted for the mobile vet. Zuke was declining really quickly. I'm glad he's not in any more pain, but we're still pretty torn up over here.

easternshoregirl under control I think. I've seen ONE in the last two weeks and it was dead. Sounds like you had fun in Iceland!
