I moved halfway across the country while pregnant. I wasn't as far along as you, only about 3 months or so.
I made appointments with an OB before moving, and brought a hardcopy of my records from my old OB, so I was able to see them right away once I moved. Do you know anyone in that area who can recommend a practice so you can get the ball rolling?
In your circumstance, if I'm understanding correctly, I'd take the COBRA, so you know you are covered. This would be a big concern, in case anything happens prior to your due date. Is your new location in-network? I ended up double covered for a couple of months just to be sure there wouldn't be an issue for me.
It is really stressful, but good luck!

taconight, thanks! We do know someone in the area, but in the next town over. About 40 mins. I was thinking of looking there for an OB if they had higher ratings than in the smaller town we'd move to. I need to make sure that my insurance is in network, when I looked up one OB it did say they take BCBS. I'm worried none will want to take me so late in the game.
