I got a paperless post invitation to a wedding. Someone I was close with for a few years but haven't seen in probably 3 years and have never met the fiance. Its not local so I wasn't planning to go - but I keep forgetting to respond because...evite. BM said the other day how we should send a gift, and I realized I don't have an address anyway because evite.
Anyone encountered any odd things lately?

OH, I'm trying to respond right now and it won't let me unless I make an account. Like really, come on.

That's too much effort and I would just move on. There's not even a phone number to RSVP?

I got it to work.
I probably have her phone number but I've never talked to her on the phone (do people do that). I considered texting her but thats also kind of annoying, no?
I thought maybe its just like a back yard low key wedding, but the food choices on the rsvp suggest otherwise...so really...a paperless post?

If you can find their registry online, you can send a gift without knowing their address.
But for most people I haven't seen in three years or met their fiancé I would probably not send a gift.

Potato, potato.

Wait does this mean I need to send a gift to the wedding I'm not going to next month? Crap. I'm a horrible person.

stringy, h's cousins almost exclusively sent out evites for their weddings over the past few years. It's frustrating because I just won't remember if it's all in my email.

I get people trying to save money (postage can get expensive) and time, but there's something about getting a formal invitation to a wedding that's really nice.
It doesn't even have to be a fancy printed invite with all the inserts. Half the time with evites I forget to repeatedly respond to them until the very end.

Sorry stringy. I should have said texting the rsvp isn't any worse than sending a wedding evite.
