Today is my big girl's 3rd birthday! She is named for a favorite song of ours that a singer named for his daughter and we learned after she was born that she actually shares a birthday with that singer's daughter. I am reminded of that every year and I still think it is so cool!

peachesncream Happy birthday to your 3 year old! Mine turned two last week. She's really been working on her negotiating skills. Our convo yesterday: "Please don't eat the paper towel." “Why?” “Because it’s not food. Please take it out of your mouth.” “How about….two minutes.” “No, just don’t eat it.” “I want to eat it for….four minutes.” “Please don’t eat it.” “How about I eat it for five minutes. Then take it out of my mouth.” 🙄

Morning! DS is going to a friend's for a bit to play this morning. It was a birthday gift from his friend, a coupon for one free play day lol! So it'll be the first time he just goes on his own! H is going to spend some time at work today, so I guess DD and I will have some of the morning to ourselves before picking DS up. Happy birthday to your daughter peachesncream! |

Gm!!! I feel super fancy today so I'm going to AW:  I have my 14w appt today (13w5d) and my H is going with to hear the HB. So that's exciting. I finally have some more energy too and an appetite. Yay! I want to go bootie shopping tonight for booties to wear with my new dress for next weekend at my bffs sons baptism. |

Good morning! Just got back from groceries & it's raining 😍😍
I'm about to workout, DD is watching moana. I'm 19w today!! Exactly one more week until our anatomy scan, I'm so excited!! This pregnancy is flying by...I'm sure the crazy 2yo I chase around has something to do with that lol.

Morning! I woke up at 5 to come in 2 hours early for some OT. My Mom told me she wanted to buy some maternity clothes for me the second I told her I was pregnant but it was way too early so I finally told her Friday I'd like to take her up on it. Judging hunger texts, I think she's ordering me some stuff today. It's a real blessing bc I can not budget buying myself a bunch if new maternity stuff. Having an August baby, I really need some new stuff for this January baby!

I won't spoil for anyone don't worry but I didn't like it! I totally guessed what was going to happen not because I'm a genius but because I thought the ep was heavy handed and obvious. I know they want to wrap things up and I love all the action and plot progress but why didn't they start this a season or two ago? I agree on one ep, when that came on the screen at the end I didn't believe it. |

I made an appointment for blood work tomorrow. I need I think the cystic fibrosis screen? And DD needs a lead blood test. So I booked them back to back, hoping if DD sees me get a blood draw it won't be as scary for her. The last time we did blood work for her it was about a year ago and it was AWFUL. I don't even know how you get blood from a 2 yo. I'm anticipating lots of tears and fighting. Not looking forward to it.

Hi Everyone! I have been MIA the past week...an unexpected work trip came up so I was out of town all week. I went right from the airport once I got got back to a bachelorette party for the weekend, so I am exhausted today!
Yesterday I turned 14 weeks which made me realize there was exactly 6 months until my due date and all of the sudden things are feeling so real! I feel like I have soooo much to do and figure out before February. OMG. But also yay!

You guys watching the eclipse? I didn't get glasses but saw a little with my sunglasses. We went to target and it was literally deserted! We are officially mini van owners! It's not as bad to drive as I thought! My little woke up this morning saying "mini van target" def my child!

Happy Monday! I'm back to work today after a 2 week vacation so lots of catching up to do and I'm working from home alone with DD. Finding a pre-school for her is my main goal this week. I'll be calling places on my lunch break. So far today DD has been an angel... I'm assuming I'll pay for that in a couple of hours, haha.

We just witnessed the total eclipse and it was amazing. We live in the path of totality, so it was like nighttime here for about a minute. I was very impressed.
