I can't understand why they won't do a toe prick for us!!!! I requested that last time (and will again) but they said they couldn't. That's ridiculous! I think that is the only way to do it soo they don't lose their shit! Lol do they draw blood like an adult? Yes. Last time was several vials (maybe 3). This will only be one because lead is the only thing she is being tested for. It's crazy, right? It seems like every place around here does it that way though  . Her pediatrician doesn't do it we have to go to a LabCorp. So it might be their policy? Not sure but it's the only place for our insurance. |

Here in Ohio it was kinda cloudy, but with the glasses we were able to see about 86% coverage. DH got a decent picture through the cloud cover!  |

pippiann team mini van for life here, I got your back girl lol 😄 We had 76% coverage, the sky was completely cloudless so while I didn't have glasses to watch it, I was out and about picking up my son from his play date and at the post office by the time it hit it's max here. It kind of looked like if I was wearing sunglasses, or like when forest fire smoke rolls in but less orange lol, but since I had the kids with me I didn't say anything because I didn't want them looking up at it without any protection. Ive seen lots of good pics from all over though!

Well I've managed to stomach 3 animal crackers and a couple bites of applesauce. DH also brought me Gatorade. I'm still not feeling good but I'm hoping the vomiting has passed. I have to lecture tomorrow morning so I'm hoping I can get some energy back.
I haven't had the flu in so long, it sucks.

Tiny PSA. I am wearing the leggings I bought in target the other day. They are the BeMaternity ones. They were on clearance in my target for around $5. They are just about the most comfortable thing I have worn in weeks. I have literally never felt better in clothes physically and they make me feel comfortable with my giant body. Lol 😊
ETA: you guys should try to get a pair

I want a mini van, specifically the Chrysler Pacifica but $$$$. At this point we may buy a used one. DH looked into that one & said he thinks it's an anomaly that it's the top van this year. We own a Chrysler (different model) and he says we will never buy another one again, they just aren't as well made. We have a lot of friends who looked @ the Pacifica and ended up with an odyssey or sienna. I want a sienna bc I'm a Toyota 4 life girl lol. |

We own a Chrysler (different model) and he says we will never buy another one again, they just aren't as well made. We have a lot of friends who looked @ the Pacifica and ended up with an odyssey or sienna. I want a sienna bc I'm a Toyota 4 life girl lol. One of my friends has the Pacifica and she said it's amazing and has 0 problems with it. I have been in it, and that's when I decided I want it. Got my follow up ultrasounds scheduled. Of course they call when I'm trying to nap. Looking forward to seeing him again in a few weeks though.

Got the call back from the doctor with our results. Everything came back low risk and we are having a baby girl!! I am so excited!

We just witnessed the total eclipse and it was amazing. We live in the path of totality, so it was like nighttime here for about a minute. I was very impressed. Our house was at 99.8% but there was so much cloud coverage we couldn't see it at all! I was so sad. Especially the more I hear how cool it was. |

Haha my MIL just got a 2017 sienna and loves it. If i didn't hate minivans so much, then I might be persuaded to get one based off how cool and practical it is. But I just can't get past the whole minivan-ness of it. |

We were afraid that it would be cloudy here (they kept predicting it would be), but it ended up being perfect. We were in 100% totality for about 1 minute where we could take off our glasses and look directly at the eclipse. All the stars came out and there was a 360 degree sunset. Beautiful! |

Hey ladies! You guys watching the eclipse? I didn't get glasses but saw a little with my sunglasses. We went to target and it was literally deserted! We are officially mini van owners! It's not as bad to drive as I thought! My little woke up this morning saying "mini van target" def my child! Team mini-van here! Love having one, but I wish I had a different make. We have a VW Routan, which is basically a Chrysler. I would have gone with the Odyssey, but our neighbor owns a VW dealership and gave us a great deal. |

So a footboard will always be a no-go for us, plus it makes making the bed harder! I love having a headboard though. We got ours from Target and it was cheap! You just screw it into the bed frame. It makes it so nice for sitting up in bed and just adds a lot to the look of the room. |

That's what we got a sienna, we leased It and got it for a little more than $300/month soo not bad for a brand new car. ETA: hubs test drove a Kia too but said that it didn't even compare to the sienna. What I like about the sienna (so far) is when you are driving it it doesn't feel as if it's a mini van, if that makes sense. Lol |

RE: mini van walk. We once got a fully loaded Honda Odyssey has a rental and it was SO NICE. I don't think we'll ever get a mini van but if we did it would probably be that.
