This thread is so motivating! I was stuck on week 4 for weeks, mostly due to inconsistencies in my schedule and the weather. I finally made the transition to week 5 and am going to finish day 2 (or maybe 3 can't remember)..

I'm checking in to say I've been slacking.
I tried to go yesterday, but both kids screamed the whole time and we just ended up walking 1.5 miles.
I need to figure out a time to run without them, but that's even less chances than I have now.

Hi everyone! Y'all are inspiring, good work! I've been slacking and lacking motivation and haven't done any exercising for a couple months. I think I'll start the C25K again tomorrow.

It's supposed to be super hot this week. In the past is just use it as an excuse to not run. Now I'm committing to use the treadmill at least 3 times this week. I have a couple of movies picked out and ready to go on my phone so hopefully that helps.

I too am starting tomorrow. 🤞🏼. SO and DS2 left this morning...we are in the process of moving. I'm here with DS1 for a week while he finishes school. I was hoping to get in shape to run a race July 1st, but I don't see that happening. But, if I can get back on the wagon, maybe August? You all keep me motivated to make the time.

DH says he's going to run with me tomorrow so idk if we'll actually do day 1 but I'll count it. If we start the same day maybe we can kinda keep tabs on each other?

Hi I'm jumping in! I'm on week 6 day 3 of couch to 5k. I was actually a good runner at one time but 2 under 2 have ruined me. I'm getting back there!

Fun race with good beer afterward. Races with free alcohol are always the best. There's a reverse triathlon a few hours from me that I've done before; it's only $25 and that includes the pig roast and craft beer at the end.

You guys are making me feel much better about repeating a week if I need to I think that is where it's fallen apart in the past so it's good to hear that other people have done it an it eventually got easier. DD's birthday threw me off a little bit so I didn't get to the gym as much as I wanted to last week. My plan is to try to go at least every other day this week so fingers crossed it works out

Hi!
Can I join?
I used to run before I got pregnant last spring. I had DS2 at the end of November and I'm trying to get back into it. Currently I'm only running a couple of miles once a week, I really need to step things up. I did do a 5k obstacle course race on Saturday though! I'm still very sore.

My ILs love doing all the mud and foam runs they can find. They've invited me in the past, so I'm hoping I can actually join them soon.

Maybe next year.

I got out for a 1.5 miles this morning before work. God it was already soooooo sticky out at 6am. Yuck, I hate running in humidity. I might need to start showing my treadmill more love.

I took a hangover-related rest day yesterday. But I planned ahead with MH and was able to get out for a run this morning. Week 6, Day 1 of couch to 1/2 marathon done. I did 2.5 mi in 30 minutes (still on walk/run intervals). This week the long run on the weekend increases from 4 to 5 miles.

I'm curious, does C2half have a roll back week where your long run doesn't' increase? Like it goes back to a lower mileage before starting to increase again? I've never used any of the couchto plans, but I've always been curious about how they're structured.

cnf, the one I use does increase and then decrease before it goes up. Week 5, Day 3 ends with a 20 minute jog, then Week 6, Day 1 reduced to Jog 5, Walk 3, Jog 8, Walk 3, Jog 5. Then from there is just goes up. I'm doing this one. @winomite where are you on it?

I'm pretty impressed with it, as a program. I highly recommend.
