Ok. So I want to start taking O downstairs more, but I'm a little worried about him in the playroom. I was thinking we could divide the room up somehow so he can have his own safe area. BUT the other kids need to be able to get past that area and into their area. Oh, and O is around 34 inches tall so it needs to be a good height so that he can maybe hopefully pull up on it, but not topple over it.
So. I was looking at that Dwinguler Large Kid's Castle Playpen and it seems perfect, but if we butt it up to the playroom door then I don't know how the other kids can get past bc it's pretty tall and it only has the one door.
It's 9 feet from door to the opposite wall so I could leave a foot in between for the kids to get past, but I don't know what to put there to keep O from getting past as well.
I've seen just regular baby gates that are that long but the reviews say they're unsteady. It would either need to go all 9 feet across or I'm fine with having it just cut a square into the room so it would be like an L shape gate, but a big enough area to play in. But it needs to have an actual walk through gate that the other kids can open to get to their toys.
Does anyone have anything like this? Or a better idea?

I should add, D wants his area to be opposite the door with like a tunnel across the entire room to get to it.
I don't know about the tunnel, but I'm totally open to the rest of it somehow.

Ignore the mess. There were kids over and they didn't pick up. Anyway, this is a metal play yard. There are 2 sets connected and 2 doors. You can configure them any shape you want. It's heavy and very sturdy. Our 110lb dog has run into it playing and just pushed it a bit.

I'm stuck under a baby right now. I'll see if it's labeled when he's done. Otherwise hopefully I can find it online. My mom gave it to me...

It's not the same but it's tall enough and has good reviews. Somehow I didn't see it before so your pic helped me google. Thanks!

Actually I feel like it was discussed here before? I remember someone pointing out that the baby was on the wrong side of the gate...

We have the same gate as Brandie. The Northstates superyard. We have it spanning across 12 ft to gate off our family room. Our kids pull up on it and try to move it all the time, and it's held strong. It mounts to the wall easily with screws and is very secure.

I also have northstates. I think technically we have the hearth gate, though. But anyway, it's super sturdy. It's what keeps my children away from our 600 degree woodstove.
