Thanks for the check in, codex320! 1. I'm 29+1 today. 2. Still dealing with some pain and swelling from the DVT in my left leg, but I'm feeling a million times better than I was. No significant pregnancy symptoms other than tiring really easily. 3. I see my OB on Tuesday for a regular quick appointment, and my MFM consult is scheduled for the 30th. 4. I'm starting to freak out a bit that if I'm induced around 38 weeks like seems to be the plan, I've only got 9 weeks left...and so much to do to get ready!

Thanks for the check in codex320 bethkate I'm sure you will be able to get everything done in time. Good luck! I'm 11 weeks. Feeling pretty good. I've been a bit unmotivated to really do any cleaning or cooking around the house. Just getting by on the bare minimum but it makes me feel guilty. MH has been pretty great with picking up the slack so that's good. We are removing our old flooring and remodeling our kitchen. So the house is a disaster. I've been in charge of getting our old bedroom furniture all sold so we can start on the nursery at 20 weeks. We have our ultra sound on the 31st to check for birth defects. That will be the next time we get to see the babies. Still feels far away.

1. I'm 39+4 and feel like baby boy is never coming. 2. I'm exhausted. It's taking me twice as long to do anything which is making me mad. My hips are really hurting and the BH contractions in the middle of the night are getting old. 3. I have an appointment Thursday at 40+1 for a check and u/s and to plan what to do if baby isn't out yet. 4. I can't believe I might have to go back to work...at 40 weeks pregnant. We start back to school wednesday which is my due date. I've been off for 12 weeks (I've gone in some but have done things at my own pace and on my own) and now I might have to go back to work at 40 weeks which I am freaking out about a little. I've had a mindset I'm not going back until November and now this.

Dogpaddle29, don't feel bad. I did the absolute bare minimum around the house for my whole first trimester. GL at your next u/s!

king26, that really sucks. I'll be 30w on our first day of school, and I'm worried about how I'll feel. I can't imagine how stressful this must be for you knowing you might have to go back. FX you don't have to!

25,3 Just sore and having trouble sleeping comfortably. I took a nice nap in DD's baby glider and I'm guessing I will start winding up there more often. Sept. 6 for a growth scan, regular OB check, and glucose test. I'm doing alright right now. More and more kicks, but it's still hard to feel on the outside b/c of my anterior placenta.

Dogpaddle29, the first time around I always said that no matter how lazy I was being I was being productive because I was GROWING A HUMAN! king26, that super sucks. Can you use regular sick leave? bethkate, I'm with ya. Even though I never expected to go to 40w, it's weird knowing for sure I won't.

kensie5226, No. I actually have to use regular sick leave for the 6 weeks I get paid which is fine, I have a ton of days. But if I don't go back at all then my "maternity leave" starts Wednesday and I'd rather spend more time with baby at home then without him. bethkate, Blah. Yeah I was very glad I've been off work since I hit 28 weeks. It's been a nice summer. Although, I think I would have been fine working up until about 36 weeks, that's when I started getting tired and having it go downhill. I hope it's all good for you!

Thanks for taking over the check-in from cali codex320! 1. How far are you now? 40w5d 2. Symptom check: ALL the symptoms! To grumpy to list them all LOL, you get the idea 3. What and when is your next appointment? Had a check-up on Friday as well as yesterday, and we've decided to go ahead and schedule induction for later this week. I'll go in for a balloon catheter on Wednesday morning, then will be able to go home for 24h and back to the hospital Thursday morning to get the party started for real. Aaaaahhh. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I feel a little guilty for forcing babygirl to get out, but it's time... I'm both freaking out at the thought of labor so soon (finally!) as am so excited to be able to finally hold my squish by the end of this week. What a rollercoaster these past months have been!

bethkate, sorry you're still dealing with pain and discomfort but so glad to read you are feeling better. As for only having so few weeks left before babies arrival - don't worry about it too much! It'll all fall in place somehow. And if it makes you feel any better, we only were able to finish most baby prep these past couple of weeks.. I was 39wks already by the time we finally had her bassinet set up properly! Dogpaddle29, good luck with the reno! And I hope the 31st will be here for you in no time Also, don't feel bad for slacking around the house... think most of us been there and done that! king26, *hugs* I feel you! Also, I just wish you didn't have to worry/think about going back to work even if tis just for the one day. kensie5226, I too have anterior placenta but luckily babygirl did her best to kick around the placenta as well so I have felt her quite a bit througout the pregnancy luckily. Hope it'll be the same for you! Rama, congratulations! Good luck with your first appointment on thursday!

1. How far are you now? 32 weeks today! 2. Symptom check: none really, some BH every once in a while 3. What and when is your next appointment? tomorrow for a regular check! 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I've not been posting much. Work has gotten crazy. I'm pretty tired by the end of the day. Also, I decided to take the pup for a walk late last night and I broke our retractable leash that we've had for maybe 4-5 years? I have no idea. It stopped retracting. So that was fun. It's now a 20 foot long leash.

muscari, I hope your baby comes soon! I would be grumpy too Rama, I hope the u/s goes well!! kensie5226, I still need to find a glider for us. Glad you are getting some sleep though! I also have anterior placenta. I'm not quite sure where it is now since that last scan I had was at 20 weeks. How much can it move? Either way, I'm getting pretty good movement most of the day. king26, I would also be dreading having to go back to work at 40 weeks... any plans to be induced? I need to fill out my leave paperwork and I don't know when I want to stop working. That is what is holding me up with that. Dogpaddle29, I feel ya on the no motivation. Some days I've got it and other days I will happily lay on the sofa all day. bethkate, hope the DVT pain goes away. I hope your appointment went well!!

FWIW I can totally feel the movement, it's just hard to feel on the outside (MH, DD). Not only do I have the anterior placenta, baby boy has basically set up shop as low as he can possibly go.
