I know Mexico was my idea, but the more I think about it I don't know if I'd bring the baby to Mexico.... maybe someplace cool in California?? On the beach? The house I'm in right now in Destin sleeps 18. That's the name of the city, Destin? Never heard of it. Is it in TX?

Is it easiest if we do something kinda central? That way nobody should have more than a 3-4 hour flight? (Except vino and nam2013)? But I'm happy to go anywhere in the US.

I'm not that far away; to Toronto is only a 4 hour flight, as south as Houston is only 4 hours. Pretty good coverage

If we wanted to do something in like April Arizona us perfect that time of year too, and we have tons of cool resorts or air b&b's that gave discounted rates as you move into "off season".
But I'm down for anywhere!!!!

I would love to join in a meet up, but unless we happen to be in the states for a family vacation (which is the plan for 2019, road tripping for six weeks west Canada/US) this is not realistic for me. I'll join you girls in spirit, if that's okay?!

tallb so you're thinking about # 3? It's not off the table. I feel like I almost have baby fever while I have a baby still, definitely different than last time. I love being pregnant and all that jazz. Not sure if we could logistically handle three, but I don't feel like we are done per se. Granted that all might change when N is officially mobile (any second now). Of course I'd kind of be locked into my job forever since the benefits for prek and then again for college are amazing..

Destin sounds great. I would probably make it a family trip and sneak away with(dh can golf or something) and without the boys.

I think I could do it. I'd like to at least. Same. Will just depend on our schedule, etc. DH will be deploying fall '18 so he'll be out of town quite a bit in the months leading up to that. I also vote for the states; just a bit easier logistically than out of the country. Eta: throwing some ideas for places out there...Charleston, SC; Austin, TX; New Orleans; Chicago. I'm also fine with the beach. One thing to consider--certain airports may be more difficult/expensive to fly into the more 'remote' they are

I'll throw Dallas and Nashville out there, too. Thinking along the same lines as Liz. Cities with a bigger airport hub... even though the Dallas airport is my least favorite.

I'm all for Austin! I was going to suggest this too bc selfishly, I'd really like to see Austin. On the plus, TX is kinda central for a bunch of us, right?
