Add me to the exhausted list. I think M2 is in a wonder week. He usually gives us a 5 hour stretch between 12-5, but he was up for a bottle before 4am and then up again 30 min before my alarm was set at 6. Getting new internet service installed this morning. DSL sucks and they upgraded service in my area so I'm making the switch. I'll come out paying less per month, too so it's a win-win. I told my friend I would bring the baby by work later. I have to tell my boss my return date while I'm there. Can't believe I only have 3 weeks left before I'm back at work. Wow, that has gone by fast! Were you doing the full 12 week FMLA?

I'm sorry about your grandma, kamakaziartist . How is your mom handling it? She is sad, but I know she must feel some relief. I just want my mom to be able to live her life.

Plus however to the exhausted list, dd was up most of the night. Again. She still wakes up at 2-3 times every single night. Exhausted is just my natural state at this point.

Good Morning. DH took the kids to meet his parents half way so they can take them overnight tonight. We have to go to our hometown tomorrow afternoon so it's a good excuse for them to go to gma an gpas for a couple days. Tonight we have to go to the county fair to sell beer at one of the stand and then we'll stay for the concert after. It's crappy and rainy so I'd much rather stay home and watch a movie. I'm working from home and trying to narrow down my online cart at Gap. I've been adding stuff since yummeecookee's post the other day and it got a little out of control. I have a good amount of hand me downs from my sister so I don't need a ton, but it's all so cute!

kamakaziartist I'm sorry. I thinks it ok to be sad, but still have mixed feelings. Nothing much here. Dh and Landon fly out tonight for a fishing trip with his dad in California. I know they're both excited, but I wish they weren't going. Between men or suppose to be doing to much and is having to be completely moved by next week I'm stressing out. And I have my follow up app with my dr on Monday and I'm sure everything will be fine, but I'm so worried that it won't be and dh won't even be here. I need to get back in the gym... my anxiety starts spiraling so bad when I don't have that release. On a positive note, I had to stop by the new house this morning and my contractor has a young, 20 something kid helping him out today. He is HOT and he is working with his shirt off. I feel like a cougar, but I may have hung out for a few extra minutes

My grandmother died this morning. I do not know how to feel. She was racist as fuck and was not a good person. She lived off my mother for years and always complained about everything and never had enough money but always had enough for bingo and slots. I feel cold-hearted I feel this way, but it is the truth. She was a major inconvenience and has caused my mother to lose years of her life. I just do not know how to process this. I'm sorry for your loss. Take however long you need to process it. Your feelings are valid.

I'm sooo jealous of all you girls that have a nice yard! This morning when dd was napping ds roamed the garden and I actually read a book while sipping coffee and catching some sunshine, it was the best! We just went to a small town on the shore and there was a very good fish monger, I bought smoked mackerel, lax with dill, prawns, crayfish in a garlic cream sauce, I can't wait for dinner tonight!

I'm sorry, kamakaziartist. I felt that way when my Mom's Dad died (and to a lesser extent, when her Mom died). I grew up hearing how terrible he was, so I never had much of a relationship with him personally. Then my Mom spent so much time taking care of him in his final years, and he was so mean to her. I felt nothing when he passed away except confusion over how hard my Mom took it. Family is hard.

Apparently I'm a PW today. guster I picked up some Ben & Jerrys caramel almond toffee crunch yesterday. It's pretty good! Thanks for the suggestion of dairy-free ice cream.

kamakaziartist you need to process this that feels right for you. When my dad's mom died I wasn't really sad about her passing. I was never really close. But I was sad for my dad because it hit him hard. I still get teary thinking how heat broken he was. Big hugs lady!

I just had a very creepy experience at my gym. Some old dude (like 80s) was staring at me for most of my run on the treadmill this morning. I felt odd this morning and when I got off the treadmill I noticed him (he was behind me). Another treadmill person told me he was like that for a long time. I should have told the gym about it but I just wanted to leave

I was sad but I was surprised how hard he took it. she wasn't horrible, but all I ever heard was how she wasn't a great mom and they didn't have a great relationship. I think sometime a lot of the sadness come from the "missed relationship" if that makes sense.

Kama, when my step grandfather died, I literally felt "good riddance." He was a mean old man that enjoyed hurting people. I felt awful for my stepdad and I went to the funeral solely for him. But I felt absolutely nothing about losing the man I called "grandpop" since I was 7. I still don't. And I don't feel badly about that..
I'm sorry about your loss. Feel however you want to feel. But if you decide you aren't sad, there's nothing wrong with that.

She was terribly abusive do my mom so we were never allowed much contact with her. It seemed hard on my mom because if there isn't a good relationship but you're still in contact then there is no chance of any resolution when they pass. I think that's why she took it so hard.

Pond house came back with a counter. MH and I are going to a liquid lunch and shopping at the mall to decide what to do next.
Then I have a pedi appointment because my newborn has a cold already. Sigh. C1 has had a fever once. I think I have been spoiled. Something tells me C2 is actually going to make me parent.

I was supposed to head up to my Dad's for the weekend, but I'm postponing until the first weekend in September. I get to go get Ace at 1230 today and he is going to need more care then I'm comfortable making mh handle. I am going to have to get different food options for him and make sure he gets his meds twice a day and I would just prefer to handle it.
So I have today off to relax and get my boy. I'm currently drinking coffee and yelling at the people on Spouse House. This show really is ridiculous.

I put vinegar on my feet and then I got some Benadryl cream. I had no clear polish and neither did the grocery store. I'm going to go get some before bedtime. One foot actually has 3 bites on the bottom of it. I talked to the friend I was with and she has the same thing.
