Ladies who are pt... How old are your LOs? My DD will be 2 at Thanksgiving and I'm struggling with when to start. She had some interest and now has none at all to go on the potty. 2.5 and we are going all out with it as of yesterday. She has shown interest since maybe 18 months (give or take). At that time we bought a little potty and let her use it when she wanted, but no pressure.

amesie I'm fairly certain all paint now comes made with no toxic or very minimal levels. When we painted DS's nursery I was super anal about it and had the paint guy teach and show me all exposure levels. So your totally fine!

Still pretty sure we will be diapers 4lyfe but who knows. D has zero interest in going anywhere near a toilet unless he gets to say "mommy go pee pee" 🤷🏼♀️

Been slightly MIA this week..... the amount of appointments you must go to when pregnant/have placenta previa/have gestational diabetes is unreal. I'm supposed to be on bed rest but all of this running around has me exhausted.
I began my blood testing today, hats off to all of the diabetics of the world because pricking yourself with a needle 6+ times a day is no fun. I now have so much respect for that.
BIL's wedding is tomorrow and I'm already dreading the exhausting day. But on the plus side I am DYING to see what the wedding party looks like together. Us bridesmaids are all in different shades of lavender. Groom is wearing a royal blue and black tux, and groomsmen are wearing heather grey, purple vest, cream shirt and brown shoes 😅

Those wedding outfits tho, that has to be an interesting group!

Hey ladies!
We just got back from chick-fil-a, I got yummy breakfast and the little got to burn some energy on the playground. Nap time t-minus 30 minutes! Regarding pting I tired with my little in July he was a little over 2.5 and it didn't click soo and I didn't want to push it so I stopped. I was going to try again this month but he hasn't showed any interest, I will just want until I am done with my student teaching (12 weeks) and by then he'll be almost 3! If he shows some interest while i am teaching I will start again! The preschool is going to while I'm teaching will also help! Fx he'll be trained by the time the next one comes!

Not sure how the black and royal fits into all that. Everything else sounds not terrible haha

How harmful are paint fumes? I just got through painting half of DD's big girl bed before I remembered that I'm KU and that paint fumes might not be good for me to be around I have been painting things here and there. Always outside for ventilation and never more than a few hours at a time. I don't actually know how bad it is. But just for commiseration

Thanks maddisonrose and benandjerrys... I feel better about it now. I dont trust MH to finish painting it up to my standards so I hope I can finish it myself it's not a huge bed and shouldn't take me long to finish.

amesie the paint you are supposed to use is low VOC. I have been using some that isn't though.

So I'm snoopy and have been watching my patient portal like a hawk. My radiology results were posted from my anatomy scan. It appears all is normal but could not get a good view of a couples things on the heart. He recommended to my OB that I have a growth scan in 4 wks and to get a look at the heart again and another scan at 32 weeks because of my seizure disorder. From the past she generally follows radiology recommendations so I'll likely be seeing baby again in a month. What great news to start the weekend.

Heard from OB nurse and they are ordering the follow up ultrasounds MFM recommended. So I'll get to see this little guy at least twice more. The few perks of having a seizure disorder I guess.
