Thanks for the check in specter !! Sorry I have been MIA. MH and I went to Vegas for a little getaway. It was really nice. Expensive, but nice. I had an ultrasound last Monday and babies looked good. Tomorrow I will be 11 weeks. My stomach decided to pop out while on our trip and to me I am beginning to look pregnant. To others I am sure it looks like I have a beer belly going on. My stomach has always been flat my whole life. One thing I have always been very proud of. So I am having some weird feelings about the belly bulge and I gained 2 lbs which I was hoping I wouldn't gain anything in the first trimester. Sounds crazy to be concerned about weight and getting big at this point. I guess I didn't think I would care. Strange emotions I wasn't expecting I guess. My nausea is a million times better. I am able to now eat pretty much back to normal. One new thing though is I get super hungry about 5 pm and if I don't eat with in a small window of time I feels sick the rest of the night. So I have just been good about making sure I have snacks handy at work and eat a snack around 4:30 before driving home and then I eat dinner about 6:30. I have been getting the RLP. It woke me up last week, my stomach felt very tight and that was when the next day I noticed I had the belly sticking out. Other than that I have been doing good. I go for blood work tomorrow to do the chromosomal testing and then we have our NT ultrasound on the 31st. I will be happy to see the babies again. It is stressful going weeks with out seeing them. I then have an apt on Sept 5th with my normal OB. And then I think the next apt wont be until Oct 13th when we find out the sexes. QOTW: My go to dish would be a dill/ranch dip. It is soooo addicting. I also like to make chicken wings. I fry them in oil and then I put them in the crock pot with hot sauce (sometimes I do two, a buffalo sauce and a garlic Parmesan). They are always a big hit, but tha'ts more of a fall through spring dish because the smell of fried food is hard to get rid of, you need to be able to open all the windows and air out the house.

Thanks specter! How far along are you? 31 weeks and 2 days How are you feeling? good! Can't stay awake past 9:30 but I'm ok with that. Have any important dr. appts? Next week for a regular check. Dogpaddle29, Hope you had a nice time in Vegas!! I was the same way about my belly but once you start hearing the heart beat at each appointment, and especially feeling movement, your feelings will change. I think I'm up 28 lbs since the beginning? Plus I still need to gain more. It seems like a lot of weight but it's all for a good cause

How far along are you? 16w 1d
How are you feeling? Pretty good physically, just tired. I'm not getting "good" sleep due to random and weird dreams most nights
Have any important dr. appts? MFM appointment yesterday for a growth scan. Baby Faith looks great and no sign of any of the problems that Ava had. I go back for my full anatomy scan on the 13th and if that goes well I will be treated as a "normal" pregnant woman from there on out!
We are starting to work on the nursery, and I'm working on a quilt for Faith in the nursery colors but in a larger size. My mom and sister are working on my shower, so things are moving along! Yesterday's appointment have me a lot of relief that we will be bringing a baby home this time.
QOTW: Depends on the potluck, but meatballs in the crock pot is usually my go to.

Hey all, I'm sitting at 39+1 and can't believe I'm a week away from my due date. Apparently Baby Boy didn't get the memo because he's happy where he is. I'm still 1 cm dilated and midwife says he seems happy. I go back at 40 weeks for a check and an ultrasound to make plans for what happens if he isn't here by due date. As for how I'm feeling, I'm just totally exhausted. School starts next Wednesday (my due date) and I hadn't planned on going back but apparently I might have to!
QOTW: Always a dessert. Everyone always asks me to make dessert

Hey ladies! It's been quiet around here. Hope you all have been done by well.
I have an outside baby! He was born 8/5 via c-section after a 30 hour failed induction at 41+1 weeks. Nursing like a champ and almost back to his birth weight. I'm doing ok, trying to recover from postpartum Bell's palsy. Hopefully regaining movement back into the right side of my face. Other than that, just trying to figure out life with a newborn.

specter thanks for the check in! Dogpaddle29 the weight gain ebbs and flows so don't worry too much. I put on 4lbs in first tri but it stayed that way until about 20 weeks. You've got 2 babies in there so don't sweat it! king26 hope baby boy decides to vacate before school starts! aprilz81 awesome news! I'm 26 +1 so close to 3rd tri, so not ready for this kiddo. MH is currently gutting a room downstairs in our house for our office to be relocated to. Then we need to move the office and gut the baby's room. It's gonna be chaos for awhile. I've got my glucose test 9/1 otherwise things have been looking good and for the most part I'm feeling great. QOTW: I either bring dessert or a stromboli. Everyone seems to compliment my stromboli and the only thing I do different is add pesto lol.

laurensc927, I feel your concern on the construction. We decided to put in new flooring throughout the house and redo the island in our kitchen and put in new counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms. Our house is in construction mode right now. I told MH I wanted it done by the time I am 20 weeks so we can start setting the babies room up. We will also need to finish painting three rooms and do the fire place surround in tile. Ahh! I am so happy it is getting done, but... it is very hard to have the house a mess, especially when I can't help or be around the dust and fumes. I wish you luck in the next month or so with the remodel.

We are also having construction soon! Our master bath remodel (total gut job and moving things around) was supposed to start on June 4 so I keep hoping that we will get a demo date any day now... At this point I just want it done before my due date. lol

Alexa is 5 weeks old. She follows eye contact and turned her head to the other side during tummy time to follow her toy and me. She has reflux which is driving me nuts but all else is good!

aprilz81! I missed the memo you are healthfully pregnant and my joy for you in overwhelming! king26 - SO CLOSE! Miss you, lady! So much love for the DOR girls! AFM, babies A & E are about 6.5 months old now! They are rolling and laughing and we are working on sitting up! There also is a lack of coffee in my life these days!

Thanks for the check in!! It feels so weird around here now and it's really slow. Not that I ever posted that much but I always kept track of my DOR gals for sure. I hope you all are doing well. L is now 13 months and still the sweetest little boy in the world. He is the prince of the house that's for sure and loves being doted on by his sisters. He loves the cat, all animals, and playing with all the kiddos at daycare! We are transitioning to whole milk slowly because of stomach issues and that is going just fine. MH and I have been getting along beautifully for the first time in a long time. We are planning a weekend away from kids next month for our anniversary and I can't wait! It's always great to read everyone's updates!
