I am new to using Tapatalk so this may not post properly. My induction was scheduled on the 15th between 5 and 10 am but they didn't call me in until 2. Got started on pitocin, but contractions were weak and irregular, and I stayed at 3-4 cm for about 8 hrs even after Dr broke my water, and I started to get really frustrated bc the pitocin was up to 24. They put in an internal monitor and increased pitocin more. This started to really hurt so I got the epidural still at 4cm. Two hours later I was at 8 cm and so relieved and surprised. I labored down for two more hours (I think my poor Dr was sleeping, lol) and then told the nurse I needed to push and he was out in about 4 pushes. I felt myself tear, which was really weird. Hen.ry Neil is doing well. He cluster fed yesterday and has been having some trouble latching which has been driving me crazy. Breastfeeding was a huge struggle with my first, and I'm really hoping it will be easier this time, but so far it's been a challenge. He is such a sweetie, though.

Congratulations thinkchocolate05!! I'm sorry things were off to a slow start but am glad eventually all seemed to progress nicely! That tear sounds nasty, hope you heal up smoothly and swiftly! And best of luck with BFing! Can't wait to see a pic - lemme know if you need some help with the uploading? ♥

Congratulations!! I can understand the frustration with the slow start to inductions. Both of mine started so slow and finally they cranked up the pitocin to over 60-70 and it got moving!
Hopefully the tear will heal quickly and breastfeeding becomes smoother for you both!!

Congrats! I was induced with my first and totally remember how frustrating the progress can be. Hope you're recovering quickly and breastfeeding improves!
