Super complicated poll. Lots of questions. We obviously have some time, but I thought I'd get this going ... and I'm actually on a computer.
For those on mobile:
Do you want to participate in an exchange of some type? [Yes, No, Maybe] **Do not feel obligated to participate if you are not comfortable doing so! The organizer of the secret exchange and the person who is sending you something are the only ones who see your address. Check out elfster.com for more information.**
What kind? [Card, Gift, Both]
For whom? [Baby or Baby & Mom]
When? [Sent by 12/30 or Sent by 2/14]
Other suggestions (or on mobile)? Leave in comments!

No idea how it's going to work with me in the mix, considering shipping costs. I'd be happy to just do cards for the shipping reasons!

I think this is a great idea. I voted to send by February cause it's going to be so hectic IMO with baby then the holidays right after. Thanks for setting this up grumpycat!

I would totally be down for this. My vote is yes. I'll leave the specifics to everyone else, I'm happy to do whatever, whenever.

beefinch, I can set it up so that "card" people are matched together. I did it that way for Canadians in the past I'm also fairly confident that at least a couple people will be willing to do a card exchange with you (myself included) in addition to the larger exchange!

Cards I'm down for whoever.
Gifts I'd prefer to be matched with other Canadians if they're participating because exchange and shipping is killer!

I would be very open to either. I love getting presents and I love giving presents.

I'm game for any type of exchange and agree that after the holidays might be best.

Yes!
Card, gift, or both, whatever everyone wants.
Would rather send in February.

I'm in.
Fair warning that if anyone tries to tell me "mom only", LOL. I'm buying something for your baby. Sorry.
I will also probably blast through any spending limit we set. I'll say it's because doing the exchange between USD/CAD is too hard, but really it's that I always go overboard.

In my other BMB we have gotten around the Canada/US issue (since I'm the only Canadian) by using online retailers like Amazon. We have someone in Australia over there, too, so we basically just make sure to shop on the appropriate Amazon site. It's not as awesome as putting a box together yourself can be, but still great! beefinch - Same thing. We could easily shop on Amazon UK to send you gifts. Then the shipping costs are not an issue.

I'm a maybe, depending on details.
Both of those times of year are busy for us, so either is fine.

Shipping through PayPal if you have it is cheap. I have shipped two shirts to AUS for $8 tracked.
