We went through three pairs of PJs last night so I'm online shopping at old navy right now. I'm only allowing myself to get PJs though. The struggle.

I haven't really shopped at Old Navy for the kids--I don't typically shop there for myself so I'm not in the habit, I guess. How does their stuff run size-wise?

Morning! Yes, it's Tuesday. Which means tomorrow is the day I head back to VA...or PA, rather, and then on to VA on Thursday. Not looking forward to doing this drive.
At some point I should probably think about getting us packed up.

They have a 3.88 sale and free shipping so I couldn't let it go but I held back quite a bit. We really don't need 10 more shirts and shorts.

I love baby gap. Especially pjs. I have never shopped at crazy 8 but that deal sounds good goldenlove. Hi ladies. I just made J some lunch, well, he's actually eating part of mine. Grilled chicken, green beans, and I cut up a peach. He literally ate more than I did. Thanks, kid!

waitwhat I always forget about Baby Gap but they do have cute stuff...loved some of the little dresses for C. I was just looking at their fall things this past weekend, b/c we will actually need "fall" clothes this year! In FL we just needed summer-clothes-in-autumnal-colors eta: I also 'discovered' Gymboree for C, and have bought quite a bit there. Their boys stuff isn't my favorite for B so I haven't shopped there much until this year, but overall I've been happy with the quality and I like how stuff mix-and-matches for C.

Another one I forget about. I don't venture out of my babygap and carters bubble much. And how exciting for fall clothes! I can only imagine how cute C will be in a cardigan and how dapper B will be in a sweater!

I got my little cousin to babysit again (for 2 hours this time) so I could go to Yoga today. I still feel like she's a little kid even though she's a teenager, and I was babysitting at her age. The boys love her and she's doing well (even fed them lunch today) and bless her heart she even cleaned up the toys evem though I told her not to worry about them as it's still middle of the day. H is even cooperating and having a nap while I make myself some lunch (hopefully he stays this cooperative while I try to eat and shower).

danib your cousin-sitter sounds like a keeper to me! We used my cousin (who I babysat way back when) when we lived in FL and she was so good with B; then she went off to college 😭We will need to find some new sitters in VA; not looking forward to figuring all that out.

Old navy runs a bit small IMO. Crazy 8 has held up well and runs true to size. My MIL always buys stuff from Gymboree. The clothes are good quality but I noticed the knees of their Jammies usually wear out quicker.
There is an H&M & a Janie & Jack over here. I feel the need to go check out their kid clothes.

Oh j&j is my absolute favorite. It is $$$$ and some of it is a bit mature, I think, but if I had unlimited resources, I could do damage there pretty frequently. We had an outlet store near us and it seemed like everything in there was always on the j&j website, but at slightly lower prices. Still not cheap but more affordable.

Hey guys!!
Today was meet and greet for W's new class. They officially start Thursday (weird day to start but I'm just glad the day is here). It's going to be a great year! The three year old class is where they really start to prepare for Pre-k (next year Wahoo!). So they have the option for curbside drop-off, they will have homework(!), they start a science curriculum and once per month they do chapel. It's really more like school versus MMO now. I'm pumped! We increased W from 3 to 4 days (it was only $50 more per month so like shut up and take my money right?), and he and his bff will be together again.
Once he gets back to school I have to really figure out my freelance situation.
I may be a little excited today.

starbuck that sounds great! I'm jealous of the curbside drop-off; once I had C, taking B in and out of his classroom each day was a lot more of a production. I hope W has an awesome year! B doesn't start back til the 11th--as I think I've griped here previously--but I just saw on FB that his new preschool is sending out a bunch of info this week, and orientation is the 6th. The countdown is ON.

That sounds like an awesome class starbuck! We start on 9/8 here. We're only doing 2 days a week but I'm super excited for him to go. I am annoyed that the preschool open house is from 11-12 on a Thursday though. Because that's a super convenient time.

I buy, like, exclusively from Carter's.
People have given us loads of cute clothing (new and hand me down) for both kids from Old Navy, Baby Gap, Children's Place, etc. yet somehow I still never think to shop those places myself.
Eta actually come to think more on it, I've bought quirky a few things from the Cat & Jack line at Target this past year.

I'm WFH today but per my new usual, have gotten almost nothing done. I started the day with Orangetheory, then came home, ate breakfast, put D down for a nap, played with DS, showered, made like two calls, ate a snack, and by then it was already like 1:30 and I had to nurse D again before finally heading out to drop my car at the shop (my original reason for staying home today). Oy!
Now I'm hoping to get 2-3 solid hours in before calling it a day. What I'd really like is a nap but I have to tey to resist at least for a little while!

I like Carter's for babies. For DS1 I mostly buy Kids Korner brand. I even sent a couple shirts to goldenlove for the gift exchange.

dashook I would get zero work done at home Yeah WFH is nearly impossible in my eyes. I do manage to get stuff done but TBH not nearly as productive as I am in the office. But I feel like is even bc I am a work horse in the office so I feel like office days get 150% capacity (like loads more than the average person in my position would do) and WFH days are like 50-60% capacity.

dashook What a productive day! sophiegrace Is she sweating through them? Or diaper accidents? Does she sleep through that and you have to wake her? starbuck I imagine someone comes out and grabs the kid, but in my head for a second I just pictured you dropping W off and screeching outta there. Just entertaining myself over here on this rainy Tuesday. Are you guys doing a twin free night this week?

dashook I would get zero work done at home I used to be really good at it! But lately I am finding it harder for a couple reasons. 1) supply issues, which make me want to nurse D when I am available to her rather than pumping; and 2) being on my meal/exercise plan--I am supposed to be eating every 2-3 hours, which brings me downstairs (and into the kids' view) too often. No such thing as grabbing a quick snack or quickly filling my water bottle up when they're around! Plus my nanny is very chatty so I can get caught down there for a substantial amount of time.

I spent $80 at H&M for H & M. lol. They have dresses for $4.99. Like, that's the normal price for tank dresses. I got M 2 pairs of leggings, a long sleeved dress, 4 tank dresses, a long sleeve kitty shirt & Frozen ballaweema shoes. H got 2 t-shirts, 3 pairs of joggers and a zip up hoodie. If you spent $60 you got 20% off, so of course I had to load up.
