I want sandwiches all the time. Pitas, subs, but especially BLTs.
Also craving root beer, which is not usually my first choice.
Also can't stand the thought of eating eggs, coffee or spinach.

had a 5 am random craving of dirt pie. you know chocolate pudding, oreos, and gummy worms. eww. what is wrong with me. i have been craving gummy bears in general though, not the sour ones. We made this for my daughter's birthday party a few weeks ago and I ate SOO MUCH. I thought that would kill the craving but nope, I still want more.

Cravings: hot wings, nachos, ice water, burgers with dill relish.
Aversions: runny eggs, coffee, barbecue or smoked foods, chicken in any form except hot wings.
Unisom + B6 is helping me a lot this time around. Before I started it, everything was gross.
Cooking is pretty gross though. No matter what I'm preparing.

Whatever I crave one day is disgusting to me the next so that's fun. And the only food that I can stomach is basically drunk food (cheesesteaks, french fries, etc). The only reliable thing seems to be pasta and pizza. I'm going to gain eleventy billion pounds for sure. The biggest aversion I have is the actual discussion or thought of food. Meal planning is my biggest nightmare because I literally get nauseous whenever I think of any food. This thread is actually probably not a great place for me to be haha. Same! Our weekly routine is to plan the meals for the week on Sunday and MH goes shopping (and does most of the cooking.) I can't even entertain the conversation. The only thing I could bring myself to suggest for this week's list was one of those individual-sized snack pies. I probably haven't had one in 10 years but it was the only thing I could think of that I wanted. (And it was heavenly.) I have my days when I can eat relatively normally, but mostly I'm having aversions and can only think of very narrow categories I'd like to eat. So today I had a blueberry muffin. Yesterday was pizza. I'm eating cheese & crackers and cold cereal for dinner a lot. I can't stand some of my usual favorites: avocado, coffee, chicken, mexican, greens... shudder.

I've stopped drinking coffee bc I want to save my caffeine for an ice cold fountain coke. It's the only thing that ever sounds good and it immediately perks me back up.
The only con is the crash an hour or two after it's gone 😫

Just entering into nothing sounds good, but I'm hungry territory. Hope my family doesn't want real dinner anytime soon. I just chowed on some chocolate teddy grahams with PB.

My poor husband - I haven't been up for a real dinner in weeks. I've just been stocking up on easy fend-for-yourself options at Trader Joe's so he can eat a salad or something while I chow down on...Cheetos and a cinnamon roll? I've wanted nothing to do with meat this time around except occasionally hot dogs (wtf?) and have been craving sweets more than salty. Starchy carbs are also safe bets. And cereal. Lots of cereal.

No real cravings aside from ice cold drinks. I have sensitive teeth, so I'm usually a luke warm beverage person.
I do need a steady stream of carbs of I feel barfy, but I'm not craving it per se.

For the most part nothing sounds good right now and when I am craving something when I actually eat it it just tastes blah.
But I'm constantly hungry. It's not even 10 yet but I already have pizza in the oven.

Last time I got super sick at 7 weeks and it lasted until I was 15 weeks. It was awful. Right now I'm only 5 weeks so I'm just eating everything in sight as a last hurrah before the storm hits and it's cheerios and saltines.

I couldn't, and still struggle to eat. Things I've been able to eat include: pizza, ice cream, mac and cheese. However, I can only eat them in small doses. Suffering from major food aversions, and I'm so glad to see that this is normal. With my DD I didn't really have any symptoms of pregnancy other than a missed period and moodyness.
I've had random cravings though. Crawfish (I live in MI, they're no good up here), popcorn, potatoes, sushi, boneless wings, and anything COLD. Like fruit, veggies, chips/dip, etc.

+1 to anything cold sweetheart. Or "fresh" as I say. Yogurt and fruit cups saving my life especially first thing in the morning.

I must eat all the nachos. Melted cheese, spicy salsa, beans, crispy chips. I try to pile on roasted veggies so I don't feel as bad.
Aversions are so, so strong. Blech.

I am not eating enough and I know it. I am just constantly nauseous and am randomly surprised with some puking at times. I am trying to hard to get in enough calories but it is hard to be motivated to make food. Thankfully I am eating pretty consistently at work because I am given a break where my sole job is to eat, lol. At home though I am just miserable. Nothing sounds especially good when I look at it. I finally made it to the grocery and tried to focus on buying some easy, quick, protein rich foods. Like yogurt smoothies which are awesome til I leave it on the counter for too long and then warm runny yogurt is disgusting.

A BLT sounds delicious. And dang it I was at the grocery at midnight last night and passed bacon and was like I think I wanted to buy that? No, why do I need bacon? You are the one who made me want BLTs in the first place and now you have reminded me that I wanted them and I still have no bacon.

nuggetrn Don't worry too much about food. Baby takes what it needs from you regardless. With DD I think I lived off of 2 pieces of toast and a piece of fruit each day. My grandmother always told the story of when they were fleeing through the alps during the war. She was breastfeeding one baby, pregnant with another, literally freezing and starving and all 4 of her children turned out happy and healthy:)

What a life she must have lived! In truth I know that baby is so insulated from all of that right now. And I am getting some food in me each day so all will be well. I am working on feeling less guilty about all of it.

We get these delicious Kroger brand cheddar chips, so I send H to the store to grab some to go with the burgers I was making. Somehow he grabbed salt and vinegar instead. Which I normally love, but I can't even think about right now. I still want to cry and now he's trying to put the toddler down for bed and it's his birthday, so I don't feel like I can send him back again.
Toast and cereal are about all that sound good regularly. I know I'm nauseous from hunger, but nothing sounds good, especially mid day.
