Here's our new workout/healthy eating thread!
Today I start back on my exercise wagon, water drinking, positive thinking way of life. The above pic captures my attitude right now.
I have more lows than highs due to not working out so I am skipping that this week.
Goals: To get my work out in everyday. Drink less alcohol and drink more water. To have a dance party with my kids every night. To learn to love myself a little bit more each day.
Plan to get there: Stay positive. Have you all back me up and keep me focused!! lol.
GTKY: How do you stay focused on your weekly goals? What keeps you moving forward? - for me its the thought, no one else is going to make the change you want, you have to do it yourself. I also follow the fit girls on ig and they are all pretty motivating and it helps keep me moving...

Goals: To move towards healthier cooking and increase muscle. Keep at it at the gym. Plan: I'm doing Labrada's 12 week trainer off of the bodybuilding.com website. So far it is working well. I have been working out 5 days a week (this will be week 4) and I am only on week 3 of the program because it's a 7 day a week thing and I just can't do that. I'm happy chugging along at whatever pace though. GTKY: I use my planner (shocking to everyone I know haha). I hate have to leave things blank so I make spots to record food and workouts. Then I think of it just one day at a time. FGG on instagram was a game changer for me, it really kept me at it in the beginning (and now). RunsforWineandCarbs, I love the positivity theme. I think it's so important!! I definitely need a dose of that going forward.

Goals: keep doing what I am doing
Plan: same old same old
GTKY: having an exercise routine, as in you do this on this day and that on that day.
As many know, I'm "reversing" my diet, meaning, adding calories back in each week. I actually lost weight this week. Lost weight eating 2400 calories. The last 3 days I've eaten 2500 calories and the scale is again moving down. I take an average weight for the week when I check in which is why I weigh daily. I'm eating almost 300 carbs a day! About 80 fat and 145 protein. I'm learning a lot about myself, not having the urge to binge (binging for me is consuming about 10,000 a day) and I'm learning I have a high metabolism. Looking back, this shouldn't surprise me. Even with weight watchers I would eat all my daily points, all my weekly points and most of my activity points. Still interesting to see though. Mostly through this process I've stayed within a pound or so. The point is to do it slow to repair metabolism. So they give me about an extra 60-90 calories per day each week those calculating out to usually be carbs and fats.

If I were to gain over a certain amount then they'd keep my macros/calories the same. But that hasn't happened yet

Work out done, dance party done (although it was weak, my kids need to up their dance party skills) and healthy eating in the books!
I am craving something sweet so I can't wait for my 1 piece of dark chocolate. I am going to let it slowly melt piece by piece....yummm
