How far along are you? 21w2d How big is baby? Ovia says bokchoy, the bump says endive - which is weird as that's what ovia said last week. Any upcoming appointments this week? Just got back from it, baby girl was sitting on my bladder, which explains a lot... Couldn't really see much apart from her bum and a leg but all is good and we got to hear the heartbeat. Any new symptoms or changes? Consistently feeling "bubbles" and H has felt it a couple of times too and I have a bit of a bump rather than just looking chunky. Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? So the nipple discolouration I had turns out to be a small yeast infection apparently very common in pregnancy.

How far along are you? 21w
How big is baby? Chipotle Burrito
Any upcoming appointments this week? Nope
Any new symptoms or changes? Hip pain and some mild sciatica. Oh joy!
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Little man kicks away now. All day erry day. I love it! I am not amused with how sore my body gets now especially since we still have so long to go... I am ready for my nipples and boobs to stop being so sensitive and sore.

24,3
The head of Mjolnir (Thor's hammer).
No appointments in August.
I had some seriously intense RLP this weekend. Baby boy is much lower than DD ever was and that shit hurts.
Nothing really this week. KOKO

How far along are you?: 22w3d
How big is baby?: Spaghetti squash (WTE) / Water bottle (Ovia)
Any upcoming appointments this week?: Glucose test in two weeks. Right after vacation. Oops....
Any new symptoms or changes?: Last week or so I've started noticing I get fuller faster. Which does not help the reflux.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: Nothing much this week. I accidentally ate some aioli on a sandwich at brunch yesterday because it wasn't listed on the menu as part of the sandwich (even the waiter had no idea until he asked). I'm sure it will be fine, I was just surprised is all.

How far along are you? 24w V day!
How big is baby? A cantaloupe
Any upcoming appointments this week? Tomorrow. Going back to the MFM to take another peek at the questionable heart valve.
Any new symptoms or changes? No new changes. I'm definitely feeling my age and the pregnancy by the end of the day. And the fact that I chase N around during the day. I'm surprised I haven't needed my pregnancy pillow at night to sleep. I'm on a different mattress this pregnancy and I think it makes a huge difference.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Not really. I love the days when "little brother" moves a round all day. When he's quiet I always get a little nervous.
I've added a question: FTM: what is something you are worried about once the baby arrives? STM+: what are you looking forward to the most? And the least?
My answers: what I am looking forward to the most is when this little baby starts being able to interact to me, my H, and to N. Like with smiles and laughs. What I am looking forward to the least is a toss up between the lack of sleep in the beginning and pumping. N didn't sleep 5 hours until he was 12 weeks old at night. And even then he didn't sleep through the night until last summer. I am really hoping this little one is a better sleeper. As for pumping, I pumped at work from 14 weeks until 14 months and I hated every minute. It stressed me out. I was constantly worried about pumping enough milk for my bottles. I had a freezer stash but still worried.

STM here: I am looking forward to newborn cuddles. My toddler is on the go and I am excited to snuggle up with a baby. I am also looking forward to watching E be a big brother. I think he's going to own it. I am not looking forward to newborn sleep. E didn't STTN until 6 months. Breastfeeding/pumping wasn't my fave either. It's a huge weight on a mom's shoulders especially in the beginning, being the sole provider of food. And pumping can die. UGH I hated it so much.

I am so lax on food this time around. Maybe that makes me the worst. I could bathe in garlic aioli, I eat deli meats from reputable places, bleu cheese/feta (that I know are pasteurized), etc.

I wouldn't worry about this one. It does carry a small risk of salmonella, but other than the icky feeling of food poisoning in prgenancy it doesn't come with a higher risk to the fetus like listeria (random ass places) or toxicplasmosis (rare meat, cat litter, garden dirt). This is one you don't have to worry about, like really truly. If you're fine now, you're fine.

I can't literally just avoid everything because of a slight risk. *skips off to get a turkey sandwich with real mayonnaise*

STM: I'm really not looking forward to newborn days. Thems dark days and if I could give birth to a 6 month old, that would be the best. I am looking forward to all the love and fun days ahead.

I wasn't super worried yesterday, it just caught me off guard is all.

How farewell along are you: 24 w, 3 d
How big is baby: ear of corn
Upcoming appointments: had one this morning, everything looked fine. Next appointment isn't until Sept- 1 hr glucose, yuck.
New symptoms/ changes: not really
Rants/ raves/ AW/ questions: I thought my pregnancy pillow had solved my nighttime hip pain issue, but it was bad again last night. Argh.
QOTW: STM, I'm mostly worried about sleep. DS was not a good sleeper, he didn't give us any stretches over an hour until about 3 months, when I shoved him into a Merlin suit that was too big for him. I have two sizes of Merlins ready to go for this one! On the positive side, the snuggles are nice. 😊

How big is baby? Coconut??
Any upcoming appointments this week? Nope
Any new symptoms or changes? Bigger thumps and watching my stomach move a lot. It's fun to watch.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? My hips hurt by morning every day. Boo

How far along are you? 23w3d How big is baby? Between a mango and an ear of corn. Any upcoming appointments this week? None until next month. Any new symptoms or changes? More hip pain, which sucks. I didn't realize how much shielding the anterior placenta had done for protection of inner organs. D is landing some killer blows to the bladder already, and I didn't think I'd be saying "ouch" because my 23 weeker beat me up. But I still love the movement. Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? ldubhawksfan, my hips are bothering me too lately. It's worse on the side where I broke my pelvis, and was a lot worse this weekend sleeping on a shitty mattress at a friend's lake house. The pillow between the knees does seem to be helping. STM - also worried about sleep and just general newborn fragility. I was SO ANXIOUS the first year, but especially the first 4-6 months. I'm not excited to go back to that. I am excited to meet D and see what she's like and enjoy all newborn snuggles.

How far along are you? 24+3
How big is baby? Atlantic Puffin
Any upcoming appointments this week? Repeat US for the anatomy scan Friday then a normal appointment after.
Any new symptoms or changes? I'm starting to have to eat less when I eat or I regret it. Which is probably good because my weight has gone way up in the last 4 weeks.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Just tired.
QOTW - I'm mostly nervous because H isn't really planning on taking any time off when the baby gets here so a lot of it is going to fall on me. So glad we just transferred one.

Oh yeah the question: Looking forward to newborn and infant snuggles.
Not looking forward to motn wake ups, but this time still taking care of a toddler instead of trying to catch up with a nap during the day. Similarly trying to split my time and feel bad for not being there as much for both kids. I'm worried about it

How far along are you? 20w6d
How big is baby? (per veganontuesdays) Chipotle burrito size-ish
Any upcoming appointments this week? Thursday OB check up
Any new symptoms or changes? More movement, visible from the outside, and my H felt one of the girls move yesterday for the first time.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I posted a picture on fb last night of Gianna looking over her two dollies laying in the cosleeper we got (she put them in there as soon as we put it together and pretends like she's putting them to sleep, telling them stories, etc...). I thought it was so sweet. H's sister's MIL (I had tagged him in the photo, which is why she could see it) said something like, "Dollies laying there nice and still are one thing...reality is different. I hope she will remain as excited." Yeah no shit Sherlock, thank you for your words of wisdom? It got on my pregnant nerves.
STM+: what are you looking forward to the most? And the least? Looking forward to watching Gianna become a big sister. Not looking forward to getting less sleep. But honestly I LOVED the newborn days and always felt like I had plenty of energy despite the lack of sleep when Gianna was tiny. I was seriously so happy, even on just a couple hours of sleep I would tell people I felt like I had super mom energy. I know it'll be harder with two and a toddler (who still gets up once a night asking for water or to come in our bed) but I'm hoping I love the newborn stage just as much as last time.

And to answer the additional question:
FTM. Pretty much sleep-related concerns at this point, I think. That's the biggest. (The baby sleeping, not me. I know we won't, lol.)

Waffle Glad you figured out what was causing the discoloration, I hope it clears up asap! I definitely just googled yeast infection nipples to see if that's what I had, I don't recommend doing that lol. I don't think that's what I had going on.

Ha I've read that 1>2 is harder than 0>1 I've heard the opposite and that going from one to two was easier than transitioning to just one. I guess we're find out soon enough! Lol
