I'm in love with my slow cooker. If I could teach it to do the dishes I'd run away with it. School is about to start, so on weekdays if it's not in the crockpot or leftovers from actual cooking over the weekend it's not happening.
What are your favorite recipes/ cookbooks/ apps for slow cooker recipes? Is there a Mealime-like app for slow cookers?

Pepperoncini roast.
Use prom roast, beef roast, or chicken. Salt and pepper well. Pour a 16 oz jay of pepperoncinis with the juice over the top and cook till falling apart.
We use it with Greek salad, to make tacos or tostadas, pitapockets or subs, over baked or mashed potatoes, really any way that you would use regular shredded meat, only it's insane flavorful.

Salsa chicken-- dump a jar of salsa over chicken. It will be shreddable to eat as tacos, nachos, or with rice. You can also do this with buffalo sauce to make shredded buffalo chicken sliders. This tortellini dish is super yummy. You can omit the sausage if you're like me & not into pork. www.keyingredient.com/recipes/573551783/crockpot-cheese-tortellini-and-sausage/Put a beef roast in & pour 2 cans of beef consommé over it. When cooked & shreddable, you can serve on buns with sliced provolone and dip in the leftover juice-- it's like an au jous (sp?) sandwich thing.

Pork roast, or is prom roast a thing I don't know about? It sounds fancy.

Llol. Yes. Pork roast. Duh.
Also, so much yes to chicken plus frank's red hot, a little ranch seasoning packet, and salt and pepper. I serve it over spaghetti squash. Soooo good!

Cuban pork is so easy and delicious! I buy a bottle of Goya Mojo marinade from the Latin section at the grocery store and dump it in the crock pot with a pork roast or shoulder and cook it all day on low until it's fork-tender. You can add some extra seasoning, cilantro, garlic or onions, etc if you're feeling fancy. Then use the pulled pork for burritos or tacos or nachos or just serve it with some rice and beans.
Mojo is a citrus-garlic marinade, super delicious. You could probably use it to do shredded chicken, too, or as a marinade for grilled chicken or pork.

Salsa chicken-- dump a jar of salsa over chicken. It will be shreddable to eat as tacos, nachos, or with rice. You can also do this with buffalo sauce to make shredded buffalo chicken sliders. For the salsa chicken, I also add beans and corn at the beginning. It's not an app, but the New Leaf Wellness website is full of yummy crockpot recipes. She provides a shopping list by meal type or store which is the most helpful part for me. The only downside I've found is I'm not as quick in the kitchen so her make 6 meals in 1 hr usually takes me 2-2.5 hours. Still worth it though.
