How's your weekend looking? Any plans? We had plans but I'm thinking we may cancel. A lot of driving for very little reward. Not sure it's worth the hassle.
Also my boobs are leaking a lot lately. Get it together body! It's been 9 months now, time to chill a bit!

Morning. DH decided he feels better today so we are headed to my FIL's lake house for the day. Should be a nice day so the kids will get to play outside and get some fresh air.
We are also ditching the bucket seat today. J will now be in a convertible. While I'm happy to not be lugging that thing around anymore, I'm sad because this is the last time we will most likely be using the bucket. Ever.

Holy MFer waitwhat you've been carrying J in the bucket seat all this time?!!! How have you not dislocated your shoulder? I was going to comment about that yesterday on your picture danib. All of a sudden so much leaking for no apparent reason. Whyyyy??

sophiegrace I remember having spurts of leaking when I was nursing C, but I could usually attribute it to a change in schedule (dropping a feed, when I went back to work, etc). But ya yesterday, the boob that leaked so bad wasn't even the one that was due for a feeding, so I don't know why that side was so eager lol.

Lol goldenlove and sophiegrace I'm surprised we've kept it this long too! With B I ditched it at like 5 months! But between the bucket and my 30lb toddler, I have no clue why my arms aren't more toned and less fat.

So today is our girl's day/night! We're meeting at 2 then heading downtown, checking into the hotel and getting food. Going to the Tigers game but probably won't be watching it much. They have a cool "Pepsi porch" with a bar and TVs so we plan on hanging there. Then bar hopping!! I'm excited. I need to get ready and finish packing soon.

Don't be sad waitwhat, be happy! Those buckets are clunky and annoying to carry around. Have fun at the lake!

Morning!
Is this where I confess that C is still in the bucket seat?
Part of it is that we need to buy new seats for B so she can use his convertibles, and with the move and being up here I just haven't had much time to research what to get.
Lately, we mostly just leave the bucket in the car and treat it like a regular seat, unless she's asleep. But I do love it for its ability to pop into the stroller--so much easier for quick errands!

We are still in the bucket seat too. I hate lugging it around and have asked H for a convertible but he wants to wait until September when the updated model comes out. This is his domain so I don't ask questions. I really hope tris doesn't come back to bite me in the ass when we make a 12 hour drive to visit family next week!

Were still in the bucket too. I'm with waitwhat that it makes me a little sad we might never use it again. We have a new seat for DS in the basement (L will get DS's seat) and I'm just waiting for H to install it. I've already told H to give me a heads up so I know that the last time will be the last time. I'm sentimental like that. Don't even get me started on some of the baby stuff and baby clothes.

As someone who has recently driven from FL to VA (11 hours w/ stops) and VA to ME (18 hours over 2 days w/stops), I think it sucks either way 😜But C did fine in her bucket; I figure she doesn't really know better at this point anyway!

My toddler is being a toddler today and I'm solo. 'Mommy help' over and over and over. Dude no. I'm not going to help you use your damn fork. I think L ate a bunch of crumbs off the ground while I was vacuuming; its like she knew they would be gone soon and she had to get to them first. There used to be a crushed veggie straw on the ground from their dinner last night that's no longer there and it wasn't me that cleaned it.

I'm most sentimental about the clothes. The gear makes me a little sad but I think I just have more emotional attachments to the clothing. I saved *everything* of B's "for my sister", but that was probably dumb. I purged before we moved. I still have quite a bit but it's only the best stuff, and I did hold out a few things that I want to keep for sentimental reasons and don't want to pass to another family. I had an easier time doing it now that some time has passed since he wore it (and I realized that hanging onto every garment he'll wear from age 0-18 probably isn't the most practical thing to do So far I have saved everything of C's, too, but I'll repeat the process in a bit. My sister and BIL are starting IVF treatments shortly so hopefully they'll be able to use some of this stuff sooner than later!

I must be broken. I have never been sad about moving up in clothing, gear or the kids growing up. I love it, I think it's awesome and I love seeing the people they are becoming.

Morning all.
Just whipping up some pancakes for the kids while drinking my warm-ish coffee.
Gawd, what I wouldn't do for 10 minutes to drink a hot cup of coffee every morning. Just.10.minutes.

I need to give away our bucket seat. It was C's so it will be expiring soon. There's zero chance we will use it again (even if we have another baby, we won't be trying for a few years). But it's packed away. I feel crazy.

So remember a few weeks back when I mentioned the new posters spamming TCF about a fertility clinic in the UK? Well I decided to message N about it (via TCF on Facebook). She said she wasn't feeling well but would keep an eye on it. Well I checked back there again (guys I have serious trouble letting go, of ANYTHING really). Anyway bunches of loss posts and IF posts getting resurrected by these new users telling people that their losses are from unhealthy lifestyles and that the fertility clinic in the UK has a 100% success rate so go there and all your problems will be solved.
I know I need to let it go. But I keep thinking about someone stumbling upon that mess and it hurts my heart.

I had a horrible time moving C up in clothes, especially 6 and 9 months. I was mostly in denial that he was getting so big. 12 and 18 was easier though. His baby tub has finally been moved out of the bathroom and into the spare bedroom where all his clothes are. I'm not sure any of it will make it into the basement. The boppys are still taking up space though. The thing that really pulled at my heart strings was watching a video of him in his swing and hearing that music. It reminded me so much of maternity leave and him being a tiny thing.

danib That's awful that not only those posts are there for someone to read but that N is 'too sick' to care. Eff her and her righteousness that she thinks she's become since starting TCF, it's disgusting.

danib It sucks to see our original home become what it has. I understand she's been really sick but it would be nice to see at least the tiniest effort from her since she wouldn't give the site up to keep us there. The IF and loss boards were her original home and she pretty much built TCF around those communities.

Those 2 boards being targeted, I figured she'd put a stop to it....
