I spiraled on the paranormal thread in parenting and went on to listen to scary podcasts the other day. I seriously don't think our house is in any way haunted, but when I woke up at 3am that night, I stayed in bed even though I was super thirsty. I was all, "Not tonight, ghosts!"

I was very sick for the first three months of this pregnancy, and dhs spare time has been totally consumed by starting a business, and the house suffered. I cleaned my dogs water thing yesterday and there were bugs in it... It was horrible.

Apparently I have a sort of crush on someone that's totally inappropriate. We are friends with him and his wife, and D always calls me out on liking waitresses when we go out or like O has this one doctor and I was telling him how much I like her and he's like "Is she hot? I can tell." So when we all hang out I get super nervous that D or his wife (much worse because I really like her) will notice. I don't even know why, like it's totally one of those innocent crush things that isn't even like an attraction thing, but it's awkward. Now last night I had a dream that their marriage was unhappy and he liked me and I was like well we could totally divorce and be together... and now I'm super uncomfortable about it.

I'm feeling very "pat myself on the back" as a boss today. DH has been having a lot of "stay in your lane" issues with his crappy boss so when my baker wanted to improve the hot sauce bottling setup I was all, "YES! I value your input! Let's solve this problem!" And we spent about 20 minutes moving everything around and we vastly improved the setup. Then they kicked some serious ass bottling and got done about an hour faster than expected.

For a good few hours yesterday morning, I thought it was Friday. Like, I even had a debate over getting dressed if I was going to wear jeans to work (casual Fridays) and decided not to, and got in to work and an hour into work, a coworker told me she was going to bring me something tomorrow(Friday) and I was like, "Don't you mean Monday?" and she had to break the news to me. I was pretty bummed.

I had a sex dream last night about some imaginary woman. I haven't told A yet because he'll be all about suggesting we find someone that looks like this imaginary person to potentially join in.

I most often unfriend people (on FB) on their birthdays.
It's mostly because I'll get a notification to wish them a happy birthday and think to myself, I'm never going to see/talk to you again, delete.

The other night I think I saw a ghost in my bedroom! Shut up! For real? I need to know everything. Well. I may just be crazy. Obviously. I was lying down in bed the other night, reading. I turned on my side and continued reading, and I clearly saw something white only a couple feet in front of me (in front of the book that was partially blocking my face). Like, a white cloudy/shadow thing. It was clear enough that I put down my book and sat up, thinking that H had snuck out of bed quietly and walked in my room. I have a folder of history of our house which I really need to read through. From what I know, it was built in the late 1800s, then was the site of a doctor's office in the early 1900s. A large family lived here from 1942 onward, with the two remaining elderly sisters dying in the late 90s, with lots of dogs and birds as pets. Maybe it was a bird ghost.

I knew a girl who was like "I deleted my birthday info from fb to see who would remember on their own and prove to be a worthy friend!" I deleted her.

ovenrack at work the next day BM was totally googling previous owners and details. That's the third thing that's happened in that bathroom since we moved in. Eeek.

Our old apartment was definitely haunted. It was on the second floor of an old Victorian house and it always had a weird vibe and the basement was creepy as hell. I feel like I've talked about it before maybe? J had a bunch of freaky dreams about there being people in the house(there was a legit secret room, it was attached to our apartment but the door was nailed shut and nobody had a key (the owner died and the realtor came to ask us if we had one), so we ended up breaking into it one night when we had some friends over and J had another dream. It looked like the room hadn't been opened since the 60's, full of vintage fabric and millinery supplies and old photos and some creepy ass Halloween masks and dolls.). I saw ghosts twice, once when I half-dreamed someone was in the bedroom and told me to go to the kitchen and I physically got up and went to the kitchen and then when I got there I had no idea why I was there. I have never sleepwalked before or since. The second time, J had fallen asleep on the couch and I was alone in bed and I woke up in the middle of the night and very clearly saw a little African American boy sleeping in bed next to me. I can still remember his face. I had to sit up and shake myself before he finally went away. Yeah that place was definitely haunted.

I feel bad but I'm annoyed/stressed by a girl in r's swim class. She is 3-4 but is non-verbal and obviously has some learning issues. The kids have to take turns and she takes 2x the attention as any other kid because she won't stay on the wall. So the other kids get much less time in the water. It's stressful because it seems unsafe both got her and the others as she requires a lot of extra attention.

ovenrack, in addition to my ghostly spiraling, I spiraled on psychic abilities. I learned they can get stronger during pregnancy. Interesting.

I was very obviously the last person to steam mop the floors in this house. When I was still pregnant. The babies are 8.5 weeks old... If not steam mopping in a few months is confession worthy I'm in big trouble. The last time I mopped the kitchen my 3 yo came in and said "Mommy, what's that?!?" He just turned 5. ETA: in my defense, I do vacuum and spot clean.

jnu76, that reminds me of the story my grandma always tells about me at age 4 asking why she had clothes on her surf board (ironing board). My mom, needless to say, did not iron much.
