If so, why???
Like, seriously. What do you like about this? We got an rv so it's really more like glamping. We have separate sleeping areas for us and the kids. We have hot water, electricity, ac, kitchen, etc.
And I'm absolutely miserable. I feel like we're trapped in a tiny box with none of the conveniences of home. Mh gets to fish and BBQ and swim and stuff. And I get to watch the kids. And literally get zero space from them whatsoever.
I enjoy hiking. A lot. I would hike all day every day. But swimming, fishing, bumping my elbows and knees on every pointy edge everywhere? I hate it all.
I know I need an attitude adjustment. But please. Help me focus on the good.

Is your husband taking a kid or two with him to fish, swim, or BBQ? Is that in a separate space? You should get out of the RV and try to sit in a camp chair as much as possible. Find dumb activities for your kids to do - draw in dirt with sticks. Throw rocks into a bucket.

Also I love camping but have never done it with kids. I don't think I would like it much with kids, so I'm with you. Godspeed.

You seem to have wifi. So that's a plus.

Camping with kids is 1000x more miserable. I loved camping in my past life.

I love camping, but my H does not go off by himself. I would definitely enjoy that less. We split kid duty, but it's mostly easier than home because we throw a couple outdoor activities at E and he entertains himself for some time. Bubbles, balsa wood airplanes, balls, etc. Then DH and I eat snacks, cook elaborate dinners, build fires and drink beer. When E gets bored, we play kid friendly board games or find shapes in the clouds or play I spy. Whatever is simple. I enjoy the fresh air and change of pace, mostly.

^^^ the takeaway from this is that snacks make everyone happy. S'mores are life.

I don't think I would like it with DS along. Like you, my favorite part would be hiking which is harder with kids. I enjoy sitting around the fire eating, too, but with antsy kids that might get old after a while.
We went to a campground pre-kids that had a small playground near the campsites. That might not be the most rugged version of camping but at least the kids could be entertained within eyesight of the RV.
Other things I thought were fun for camping as a kid: glow sticks, sparklers, hula hoops, playing cards.

Is it just your family camping? Who is YH swimming and fishing with? Being in charge of kids while camping or even glamping sounds....not even a bit fun. Especially since your coffee situation is so dicey. I'd tell YH how you feel. Have him take one of the girls with him when he swims or goes fishing.

Oh and to answer your question, no, I do not like camping. I could probably have some fun glamping but not with anyone under the age of 21.

That does not sound the least bit fun. Hopefully some outdoor activity will help keep the girls busy and you sane. Maybe they could gather some small sticks for the "fire" to keep them entertained for awhile. Is there a playground? Most of the RV campgrounds around here also have a playground so you could turn that into a nature walk to get there and then they could run and play to blow off some steam.
But mostly, good luck. All the drinks.

I like camping, mostly just getting to be in the outdoors. My family has always done rv camping, but we also had a cabin that we went to most often that didn't have electricity, but did have running water and propane for water heater, lights, and even a fridge. I just like the simplicity but also really enjoy hiking and sitting down and reading a book while enjoying the scenery. None of that is quite the same with kids and is more complicted because we tent camp now, but I still enjoy it.
I actually wanted to try to go camping this past weekend, but chickened out because of the rain in the forecast, although rain usually means it is cool enough to actually stand staying inside the tent. I get annoyed at DH wanting to fish the whole time, it is fine if it is just the two of us and I can sit with him and read my book, not cool when it means I'm trying to keep the kids entertained by myself. Last time we went to Eufaula, which has a couple of different playgrounds near the campground.
