Anyone have a great raincoat for their Aug 15 kiddo that you love? I'm looking online and see the reviews and stuff but figured I'd check with moms I "know!"
Looks like it might be rainy in Iceland and most of our activities will be outside, so we definitely need some good gear.
How about boots?

I love our LL Bean rain coats for the kids.
Carters also makes some super cute ones.

Also, rain boots. Next spring I'll get them. I say this every year. I plan to just buy them from Carters. They're cute and relatively cheap. Their feet grow so quick, so I'm not spending any crazy money on rain boots for them yet.

My kids wear croc rain boots. They are super light weight, have grip, and keep their feet dry(ish - they jump in puddles and fill their boots from the top).
Rain coats - we have two for each kid. One that is lined for transitional/cooler weather and one that isn't for warmer. Carters and Joe Fresh are the two brands we have right now.

Thanks for the recs. I was eyeing the Crocs boots on Amazon so I might order those to give them a try. I wish I had thought of this earlier and I would have bought an LLBean raincoat, I know their stuff is really good. We are pretty close to a Columbia outlet so E and I went up this morning and we found a raincoat I think will work. I will run it by DH and see what he thinks. It is lightweight but I got it a little big so we can layer underneath if it's cold.

I size up and buy gender neutral so both kids can wear them - hence why I have kids keens in every other size...
