It's a holiday Monday here so no work. Yay! Relaxed mostly, but did clean up my kitchen totally and have laundry going. Made 2 loaves of cheesy, garlic zucchini bread and it looks so good. Can't wait for dinner! My kid is being a crab today and I am letting her have a long nap hoping that fixes it. Right now I am having a large tea and watching some PLL from the beginning again 😊

footloose, that looks so yummy! I was supposed to make stuffed zucchini boats two weeks in a row now, but laziness and other things got in the way. I found a recipe for zuccini cacio y pepe so we are having that this week. Trying to get ahead at work since tomorrow may be a little crazy. I'm also recovering from the weekend. We went to my grandfather's side of the family's reunion. Between him and his two sisters they had 19 children so by now we have 4 generations and over 83 people on that side of the family alone. There was almost 50 people there on Saturday, most of who I haven't seen in almost a decade. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad I went even though MH stayed home because of he was sick with the latest plague K brought home. One of my cousin's who's in the AF training to be a dr. drove up and stayed at my house overnight, so we hung out all day Sunday. It was great and by the time she left K was able to say her name!

We're away on vacation and today was super busy! But we're back at the hotel and everyone is napping. Hitting the pool after that.

sheilathetank, big family get togethers are so much fun! I have 60 on my mom's side alone. Inviting them to family parties can be overwhelming...$$$ and also if I'm not close to particular cousins or an aunt, and don't invite them, then it's gets political. It's a headache. footloose, mmm, that looks yummy! hope you're doing well until you get to see your new dr! billmurray, have fun on your vacation!

littlelion, that's why we only do this one big thing and then let each subgroup figure their own shit out at other times. Oh and things are potluck always, because omg $$$$$.

The weekend was jam packed so I went to buy groceries today during lunch. Work is giving out bread...bagels, muffins, hamburger buns, etc. I saved some sandwich bread in the freezer to take home but passed on the muffins. I'd pat myself in the back but then they had pizza and I ate a couple slices. And now I could really use a nap.

Omg, it's only Monday? Dh doesn't work until Friday. Our daily routines are so messed up. But I did get to sleep in today so win! This weekend kind of sucked. I had to wake up the kid's from naps for the passed three days. I hate doing that!

Hi ladies!
I'm still on my staycation and it's been fun! Thursday we took a ferry out to one of the islands for a day trip. Friday my parents watched the kids so MH and I could go see Taking Back Sunday and Every Time I Die. Saturday we went to a touch a truck event and yesterday we went out to the ILs. They have both out of state friends and family visiting, so it was a lot of fun to see everyone. Today we went to the zoo. It was the first time DS1 has gone and he loved it. His favorite part were the otters. They were swimming back and forth against the window and he running around chasing them.
I go back to work Thursday, so tomorrow and Wednesday we're just going to take it easy and just go to the park and whatnot.

It's Tuesday here but Hey anyway. Yesterday DS1 was in quite a mood and ended up in a full scale meltdown. I think the fact that he was refusing to eat contributed. Ultimately I had to wrap him up in a blanket tightly and give him an apple once he was basically a burrito. He finally stopped crying, he was still cranky for the rest of the evening though.
