typo31 , have you tried Zantac? I haven't. Is it prescription? I was going to ask my doc what to do next Tues at my appointment, because lately I've been maxing out my Tums dosage by lunch.

No it's over the counter. It's pregnancy safe and the next thing to try after Tums. Mine was so bad that I'm on Prilosec every day which is pregnancy safe, but bad for your bones and maybe has a link to dementia long term so here's hoping Zantac does the trick!

I'm right there with you typo31. Zantac has helped wonders for me. You can take it daily too to prevent the heartburn from even starting.

FFWC: I'm having sushi tonight. No judgement. Unless it's from a gas station or something. Then major side eye.

I've never had a problem with heartburn during pregnancy, but DD was bald as can be and barely has hair now at 21 months. Dh and I were the same way. Hugs to you ladies with babies that will have full heads of hair! I woke up puking from stomach acid and still had a bald baby who didn't wear or need any barrettes until at least 18 months. This heartburn=hair old wive's tale makes me grumpy.

Sorry I have been MIA. Work and personal life have been nuts. Everything good on this end. DD has a weird scratches by her left eye which have been there for about a week and them seemed to get worse overnight. I am chalking it up to the antibiotics but have a call into the pedi just in case. Baby Tres is finally moving!! Can't feel much from the outside but at least I can feel something.

My last A/S was about 3 years ago so I totally can't remember. Does the doc go over the ultrasound results right after it's completed and talk to us about it then? Or do they call with the results?

Good luck today! My tech sorta just went over things as she was looking. Like she'd twlll me this was his face, it looked good, or his spine looked good. That sort of thing.

It depends on the insurance and the office. I've heard of some peoples' doctors coming in right after to discuss. But, I think it is more common to get results a couple of a days later.

veganontuesdays The ultrasound tech made some comments during and then the doctor came at the end and mostly just told us that everything looked good.

Random, I realized this morning that I have a bunch of bruises on the insides of my legs. I have no idea what might have caused them. I'm sure it's because these babies are sucking all of the nutrients out of me.

This time, I was just waiting until my arbitrary half way milestone. It was good!! I'm glad you enjoyed your sushi! My doc said if I'm going to a quality place, up to 3x a week is fine but to limit the large fish intake (like tuna). I eaten it probable every week-and-a-half this pregnancy. I'll get one order of tuna sashimi and then stick to other fish in my rolls.

What's everyone up to this weekend?
We're thinking about taking our daughter to the zoo tomorrow. Main goals are to sleep in and work on some house projects though.
They should be starting our bathroom renos when we get back from Hawaii but my H is going to do the demo on our master before we leave next Sunday. So we need to do some organizing and I want to buy paint and tile this weekend. Our vanities should be coming in a few days. We also need to get mirrors and fixtures. I'm so excited!!
