To celebrate being 28 weeks, I've started to wash DD's clothes, blankets, Muslin cloths... well everything really. I've got everything in order how I want to wash them, and I've just finished drying the blankets and bibs. Going to do the pure white blankets now, only on a quick wash as they aren't dirty, it's just to make them smell nice, and then the muslin cloths. The Moses basket sheets are taking longer, but they'll dry overnight. Am I weird for washing all the stuff in a specific order lol?! I've organised her hospital outfits (just basically vests and sleep suits) and going to wash them before going onto the newborn clothes, and then the 0-3 months. I'll wash the 3-6 months when she's going to start needing them. Our kitchen is full of pink on our airer (I hate tumble drying clothes and to lazy to dry outside) and I LOVE it. I wash everything I get, even for DS now as I like it to smell like our household if that makes any sense, plus if it's brand new it gets rid of any chemicals etc. I think I'm slightly OCD with clothes lol (but we all know I hate putting them away) Here's a pic of my kitchen this morning lol!

beefinch, I'll start washing NB stuff in early September once I'm finished with work. DH has to bring it down from the attic still. I've already started washing sheets/blankets as I've been getting them.

I'm meeting friends after work for dinner to celebrate a birthday, then we are going bowling. I brought my Big Lebowski look to change into and I hope someone notices.

Oh the good old days of third trimester pregsomina are coming back to me. If I'm this tired after getting 6 hours of sleep, how am I going to survive on much less when baby comes? Honestly sleep after baby was so much better than pregnant sleep for me. The quality made up for lack of quantity. I have been having pregsomnia, too. Ugh.

DH and I might just do a Lebowski themed Halloween if the kids decide they want to do their own thing this year. I'll be The Dude and if I'm still pregnant I can paint my belly like a bowling ball or just do an iron-on decal on a T-shirt. If there is a baby, she can be the bowling ball. DH will be Walter due to his love of cargo shorts and rules.

AnnPerkins ha! We love the Big Lebowski in this house too. DH was The Dude one year for Halloween in college. That was back in the day when we would walk from one house party to another and he even carried around the fixings for White Russians.

My body decided to make a stand against the busy weekend I had and the level of activity I've been maintaining. I've had some mild contractions for the past two hours. They've slowed down with water and laying down. I fell asleep so I'm gonna assume that means I'm good to get up now and get some food, but I'll be taking it easy for the rest of my pregnancy. I have an appointment on Wednesday so I'll let the doc know what all happened. Le sigh.

I've already started washing sheets/blankets as I've been getting them. I have been thinking about when to start washing things. I want to have all her clothes nb and 0-3 washed, her bedding and blankets, cloth wipes and diapers done before she gets here, but I don't want to start to soon because I want them fresh. I was thinking October, but maybe September would be better.

I read the entire outlander book series my last pregnancy because of pregsomnia. I'm not looking forward to it, but I kind of am because I love to read.

FFSC, I don't care enough to wash new clothes. I did DD's newborn stuff while pregnant then did nothing else ever again. I will wash the things that have been pack up for almost two years, but new stuff just goes right into the closet or dresser. #lazymommin'

I'll be surprised if I even wash the stuff that's been in bins. I have a boy and a girl already and I'm team green. There is no way I'm washing both "just in case" so....lol. I'll be happy with myself if I even remember to find some of the gender neutral stuff ahead of time and out of the garage. Lol #poorthirdchild

I'm going to go through our baby clothes this week but I probably won't wash anything until late September or early October. I put it off until closer to the end of pregnancy with DD1, because I needed things to do so time went faster. I think having a toddler will take care of that for me this time.

45 minutes into this 2 hour GD test. The sugar rush has got me feeling shaky and sweating. Hope it passes soon

Last time I had pregsomina I had no job ( it was summer and I finished teaching for the school year) and no child. Very convenient for me. I could sleep in as late as I wanted to. This time...not so much. But I slept great last night!

When I felt confident she wasn't reacting to much of anything at all, I stopped... I'll do the same with this one and just hope he doesn't have my skin either. I was a PITA as a baby because of it.

I remember worrying about this last time too. Then I realized that you get less sleep with an infant, but it seems like you sleep more deeply (even if you are woken by a teeny sound from the baby). Those little 2 hour stretches end up feeling oddly restful.

I forgot how brutal iron pills are on my stomach. I think I am going to stop taking them this week while at this work conference, for the sake of my roommate... ugh.
I don't remember if I mentioned it before but I'm out of town until late Thursday evening, so if I'm not around much it's because of that. It's our huge annual union meeting. I love it because I am a nerd.

misskilljoy, That's true! I remember the first time DD1 slept 6 or 7 hours straight (and so did I) it was 3 something in the morning when she had her 1st wake up and after I got her back down I just started my day because I felt so rested, haha.

I was going to wait and wash the baby clothes after the baby shower, then I'd know all of what I have, and if I'm going to keep all of the hand me downs or not. grumpycat, take it easy, lady!

I would actually be totally fine with it if I didn't have to function at work. That is the part making it so difficult, ugh.
