Tonight we're having beet burgers with tomato and corn. Then, in no particular order:
- zucchini enchiladas - veggie coconut curry -ginger green bean stir fry topped with poached egg - fish with lemon-garlic green beans - chili-lime-mint watermelon salad with yogurt and pistachios And on Saturday we'll have pizza for P's birthday (since it's the only thing she's guaranteed to eat!)

Last night was French dip.
Tonight is faux-tisserie chicken with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes.
Monday we're also having the crispy chicken carnitas. I'm making corn salad as a side.
Tuesday is beef and broccoli.
Wednesday is unstuffed cabbage rolls.
Thursday is honey bourbon chicken with steamed broccoli.
I'm cooking everything in the IP this week so I cam really get a feel for it and the time it takes to cook. Working on having dinner ready when H gets home instead of eating after M goes to bed. Fx I can get the timing right.

armpants, does M like the tablet or any shows that he'll sit quietly for when you get home? DS is just starting to get into his tablet, and since he's active at DC all day, I don't mind him getting screen time when we get home. It gives me a solid 30-40 minutes of quiet time with the kids while I get dinner prepped and in the IP.

Betweenthelines oh I'm sure that I can get things done with Sesame Street, Moana, or Sing. Those are guaranteed to pull his attention in and I totally plan on using that.

And then you go and listen to polka, drink beer and order a plate of spanferkel. It's amazing

This thread is making me so hungry. I'm starting my Vegas "diet" tomorrow... yogurt or oatmeal with fruit and nuts for breakfast, homemade juice and hardboiled egg for lunch, and then normal dinner.
Monday - Soup, cheese & crackers Tuesday - Greek ribs & pasta salad Wednesday - Imitation crab salad croissants Thursday - chili cheese smokies & salad Friday - some kind of takeout
