Took the day off, errands, playground and cleaning this morning. Delicious BBQ later with cupcakes for dessert.

Up way too early with DS. Doing a little shopping today, then my nephew's 1st birthday party. No other plans.

31 weeks tomorrow. Holy crap only 9 more weeks?!? Still not feeling a ton of movement, but some at least. The spd pain is really rough, I'm looking forward to having the baby and getting back to normal. Starting to stock up on some diapers when I see good deals.

Rainy weekend here. I'm currently laying in bed waiting on DD to decide to quit being lazy bones and wake up. We are going to my niece's bday party for lunch and it's supposed to be a pool party. So I hope the rain holds off or takes a break.

Today was my day to sleep in but a smoke alarm battery got in the way. I'm going to be angry about this all day. H has an all day 40th birthday bonanza for a friends that starts in about an hour and will end whenever he wakes up tomorrow so I'm extra pissed about the no sleep in.

30 weeks today! DD spent the morning laying on my belly giving hugs to the baby while watching Daniel Tiger. I hope she feels as loving towards baby sister in 10 weeks as she does now.

Grocery shopping, a nap, some cleaning... not a super exciting Saturday here but I'll take it!

Sorry about the battery - it was my day to sleep in too but because of pregnancy insomnia I was awake already when DD got up so I just got up anyway. Hopefully you can get some downtime today!

Does your DD watch the Daniel season where his mom has baby Margret? This came out right at the end of my pregnancy with DS2. I remember being so excited bc DS1 was just 2 and didn't really understand what was happening.

rebeccabunch We totally have plans to start showing DS Daniel Tiger episodes of baby Margaret! He really responds to that show, so I'm hoping he'll take something away from those episodes. Also - sorry about the smoke alarm

Our Saturday was good! DH made an American dinner with real Idaho russet baked potatoes. They don't normally have those at the grocery store here, and all the local Asian potatoes taste awful - so that was "exciting" for us today. We're so lame...😅😂

Tomorrow is probably going to focus on me ordering around DH to arrange stuff in the nursery and then a trip to the pool to take DS swimming. It's been in the high 90s lately and pool time will be a nice fun way to get outside without melting 😀

So I went to my chiro this morning for my arm pain. They're open 9-12 on Saturday. Pull in at 11:30, and the receptionist says "the doctor is gone already, they leave an hour before we close on Saturdays".

You're kidding me, right. So, really you're open 9-11 because what the fuck is the point of being open for the last hour if no one is there to do any work?

H hurt his back somehow and the man pain is real yo. I'm trying to be super understanding, but I'm tired of his complaining. I just hope that once sequel is here he'll return the favor and I can lay in bed all morning with the baby while he takes toddler duty.

Dropping DD at my mom's a bit later to spend the night. H and I are going to see Spider-Man finally. I need to get some cleaning done around the house and maybe take a trip to goodwill to get rid of some old clothes/bedding.

rebeccabunch I still have no idea how much DD understands (she'll be 2.5 come October) but we'll give these a try too! I'm hoping she'll be over-prepared for this new role. Thanks for the suggestion!

We watched the baby Margaret episodes the other day. DD understands baby, but really has no clue. She'll only be like 2 and some change, so I'm sure it will rock her world.

I'm going through DS's baby clothes to see what all we need for this baby (summer vs fall baby). So many memories in these boxes of clothes!! Gah!

We had an exciting weekend! Well for us 🤣
Hubs wanted to go check out rocks for our fountain since he wasn't excited about the one the landscaper showed us. We decided to take DS with us this morning after we found out that they had a pretty cool outdoor show garden and I was excited to get out for a bit. Even more exciting is by the time hubs got to see everything and with DS running round checking out all the fountains it was time for lunch so we decided to just find a place to eat since it was about a 40 mins drive home. We found a middle eastern place a couple of miles away with decent yelp reviews. The owner was so accomodating and friendly, not sure why there weren't many patrons. Food was delicious, fresh and so reasonably priced, I'm a fan! I had to restrain myself from eating the Jibneh we got for DS and dipping hubs pita bread in this insanely good garlicky dip! Will just have to go back to get the jibnehs and all the other dips and pita bread after bubs arrive.

We can be lame together, I had a really good shawarma and salad today and it totally made my day!

Man my BH have seriously ramped up today. 😩 They've never been this bad before and get worse when I sit down and get still.

Here are my non Pinterest worthy cupcakes that DD helped decorate for our BBQ/gender reveal to the family. They tasted better than they look. BBQ was fun, we FaceTimed with the IL's so they could find out at the same time as my family because we would never hear the end of it otherwise.

After the cupcakes were eaten, the name game started and it quickly got really silly. There were some good suggestions but now I can't remember them.

DH and DD and I went on a one night "babymoon"/last trip as the 3 of us last night. We drove to another city close by, hung out in the pool and did some outlet mall shopping. Hanging out at home with a Netflix movie tonight. Long weekend for us here so lots of fun things planned for the next two days!

That's always when mine were the worst. End of day when I finally sat on the couch or laid in bed for the night.

Pee as soon as you feel like you have to. Mine were always worse too when my bladder was full.

Every uterus is different, but I had so many all day every day and delivered 1 day before to 3 days after my EDD.

Whelp DH came down with the stomach flu at 3am Sunday time over here. So the extra help from his return from the USA was short lived 😩😩. I quarantined him in the master bed/bath area and only am going in to deliver fluids, Tylenol, and toast. I think I've washed my hands about 30 times today, but there's no way in hell I want to catch that while pregnant and on modified bedrest. I've also blocked off DS from going anywhere hear DH.

Nobody besides DH is showing any symptoms, so I am just praying and hoping we avoid having this spread around the house! I wonder if DH picked something up on his flights back from the states. 🤔

Retail has started putting out Halloween items, we're experiencing unseasonably cool/beautiful weather (for the weekend) and I'm feeling like it's October already! Wishful thinking lol. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, usually I cant get into the spirit or wait until Oct 1 to decorate, but man, now I'm like "I NEED ALL THINGS HALLOWEEN!!" I think its my unconscious mind trying to fast forward these next 2 months of pregnancy. I really cant fathom getting any bigger, I hope to grow out and not wider I want to enjoy this last pregnancy, but with the SPD and other things slowing me down, it's been hard.

Oh no Taitai! My boys had it late May. It's so bad when your kids get it because they can't wait to get to the toilet/bowl so it's cleaning rugs/sheets/etc. 🤞It doesn't move past your H!

I wouldn't use that bathroom and make sure he washes his hands really well once the quarantine is lifted.

Yeah - I know if DS gets it the chances of me coming down with it are so much higher. Luckily we have 3 full baths - so DS has his own bathroom/bedroom, and I've moved my stuff into the guest bedroom/bathroom. I'm basically not venturing into the master bath for the next 3 days. I am going to make DH clean the heck out of it once he's feeling better and is not contagious anymore.

DH, DS, and I all caught the stomach flu about a year and a half ago. It was so, so horrible. I felt like the floor of a taxi cab. DNW again!

Taitai oh no! For the amount of time he was on the plane he most certainly could have caught something. Keep that quarantine going for sure!

Going through the newborn and 0-3 buckets of clothes from DD today and having all the feels. Whoever had posted that there are so many memories attached to these clothes was so right! We also have a ton of clothes so I should probably stop buying stuff :-P
