***** *****. We both have grandmas named *****, so her middle name is after both of them.

Middle name will definitely be Martin. First name, we have a list and will pick in the hospital. Kaj Grant Gordon Levi Thackery Alton
I'm currently leaning towards Alton or Levi.

DS is Oli.ver Ja.mes. First name just a name we both really liked, and middle after my dad and my grandfather.
Middle name for #2 will be Sc.ott after DH's dad (and is also DH's middle name). Top contenders for first name are Jonath.an, Elij.ah, Ga.briel, and Nath.aniel. DH and I are leaning toward the first one right now.

The only name we seem to have settled on is Ed.win Mic.hael.
I'd like to think we would have a list to choose from after baby is here, but we only had one name with DD too, and it suits her perfectly, so I'm hoping it will be the same for 2.0.

Evelyn Grace. We've had this decided since the beginning and I think I've shared here before.

Evelyn Grace. We've had this decided since the beginning and I think I've shared here before. **trigger warning** I love Evelyn , also because it's meaning "wished for" , it was on our list and still possible as a MN for Teagan to honor the baby we lost in October. Love Evelyn Grace, so beautiful!

Naming a baby with DH is basically impossible this time around. It was hard the other 2 times, but this time around it's way worse. My front runners are Benjamin and Isaiah. DHs front runners are Cal and Malcolm. We are considering going with Jonathan (nn Jack) or Samuel, but who knows. DS1 is Hen.ry Barr.ett and DD is Gwen.yth Del.ia, their first names were my first choice, middle names were his first choices.

First name will be Claire.
We're undecided on middle name. Either 'Elise' or 'Evelyn'.
H had never "officially" agreed on Claire until a few weeks ago when he actually referred to the baby by name. We don't share the name with family or friends (mostly because his family has opinions and not always welcome ones) so it was strange to hear him refer to her in the future tense when talking about "DD and Claire will..."

Team green. Top contenders for boys are Clayt.on Jo.n (Clay) or Tobi.as Jon (Toby). For a girl, we like Ains.ley Debor.ah, but I've been second guessing it lately. Middle names are family names, so they are pretty much set.

We have a middle name narrowed down, we are using the feminine version of a male name (my dad who passed away) which happens to be my sisters name.
First names I have no idea, I have a running list... I like classic sounding names even though DD dose not have one... think Claire, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Olivia, Catherine. My mom suggested Brianna and it's on the list. I'm trying to avoid names like Claire because they rhyme with the last name too much. H likes out there unique names, not unique spellings. Any suggestions?

I haven't put this anywhere yet but I think Scarlett Alexandra or Scarlett something. It's hard to explain but it pairs well with my name and Gone with the Wind is my fav movie/book.
If the baby was a boy Michael, josh or Jonathan would've been up there.

I love talking names!

Evelyn Grace. We've had this decided since the beginning and I think I've shared here before. I think this is a really beautiful name - I love it! August Blooms I wonder if something classic yet not as commonly used today could be a good compromise for you and your H. Like the name Virginia? It has a classic sound to it, is easy to spell correctly, but it's also unique i think (not trendy or very popular right now).

DD2 will be Sop.hie Eliz.abeth. I hate that they're both kinda popular right now, but they also happen to be the names of my grandmother and mother (plus I like them), soooo the rest of the world can suck it.
We were team green the first time around, and even then it was my backup girl name (DD1 is Al.ice Vict.oria). When we found out this one was a girl too, I didn't even hesitate with what I wanted because I'd been walking around with this in my head as the name of DD's hypothetical sister for over 2 years.

We are pretty set on Alexander Michael. It's not 100% yet but I love it and don't seem to like anything else. I love talking names! I love this! Alexander was our boy name front-runner with pregnancy #1, then we had a girl and named her Alice so it went permanently off the table... can't have an Alice and Alex, that's weird. (Or, I guess, one COULD... but I personally would not).

I feel like nothing else really goes with DS (Danny).

Ha! We had a similar "unofficial" agreement. I threw out my girl name in the car on our way home from the 20 week ultrasound, over the next few weeks DH suggested other names (including some he knew I would hate and shoot down, cause he is super mature like that), but none of them really clicked for me. We kinda didn't talk about it for a bit, and then at some point he started to refer to my belly as Sophie. After about a week of that I was like "so... we're going with that, then? Cool." Meanwhile on the inside I'm like

Lo and behold it was a girl, and I couldn't imagine her with any other name. Like I said upthread I've had my name for DD2 picked out for a while, so I hope I feel the same way too

PDQ
DS1 is *poof*. His FN and MN are family names on DH's side. Pretty sure we're going with *poof* for DS2, which is a family name on my side. His MN will be my dad's name; he died 15 years ago. It took me a bit to warm up to the first name but we're both pretty set on it now.
I was going to campaign for *poof* if we had a girl. It's my grandmother's name and I've loved it for a long time.

O17 has such good taste in names! I approve! We're team "green" still but you all know #2 is a fella. We haven't even discussed names and likely won't be happening until we get to hospital again which I think I mentioned here. When we tried with DS, we started out fine but it went downhill fast when hubs started throwing out silly names and it got sillier and sillier until we were rotfl. The only thing we agreed on was either boy or girl will have a German name ( hubs is 1st gen Swiss German ) but holy cow German names are tough and so rough sounding. Middle name is a no contention as it will be my family name which DS also has along with my nephews. So bubs will be nameless likely until they kick us out of the hospital 🤣
