According to the scale this morning, I have reached the top end of my 5lb pre-pregnancy weight fluctuation! 🎉🎉
Next mini goal: hit the bottom end of that pre-pregnancy weight

Hooray Lakes! I've been stuck 3 pounds over my goal and every morning I tell myself I'm going to buckle down and get there. But now I'm standing in line for a breakfast burrito bc I didn't have time for breakfast at home. Oops. M was totally fine all day yesterday so I guess the puke was just a fluke and not DS's virus. And my nephew is on the mend! He's been eating and peeing great and will hopefully go home this morning! Thanks for all your good wishes.

Our play date yesterday was only an hour due to storms but it was nice. We're having friends over Saturday evening for a BBQ and I'm debating about inviting corner neighbor. It might be nice but I also hate mixing friend groups. Decisions, decisions.
Today is lame. The water company is coming to switch out the water meter and of course the timeframe is smack dab in the middle of the day which ruins any outings. Tangent: I know they replaced it our first year here because I had to take off work. We've only been here three years so I'm WTFing over here. Fil suggested that maybe they're moving it outside. I would like to think they would have given me more warning if that was the plan because my garden is on that side of the house.

I've also decided to get rid of the two bouncers. I'll sell them to the consignment store because they look brand new. Neither one of my kids were huge fans. I haven't used them in a couple weeks and dd pitched a fit last time.
Im excited to declutter. A banner day here in the Lake household!

Great news about your nephew carrots!! Yay for decluttering Lakes! I need to go on a decluttering mission. I looked around my house this morning and I just can't deal with the mess anymore.

SOS. Some one help me. I think I've written about this before. DD randomly takes her pullup off at night and then pees in her bed. This is the second time this week that she's done it. I'm over all the laundry. We make her pee right before bed. We barely giver her any liquids with dinner and none afterwards. We talk about keeping her pullup on. We have a sticker reward chart for keeping her pullup on and waiting til her OK to wake clock is green in the morning. I'm at a loss. I'm thisclose from duct taping her pullup on at night.

ellabee I have no potty training experience and am no help. I often see different types of pjs recommended in these situations though, like putting on the footless zipper ones backwards. I can't tell if ds is ready to potty train or not. Yesterday he said "ds poo!" and hadn't gone yet so he willingly sat on the potty for a bit, nothing happened, he asked for a change, then soiled his diaper in 5 minutes. He's never told me when he has to pee. Is it even worth pursuing at this point?

The water people actually showed up on time, a few minutes before the start of my time slot even. I might actually be able to salvage this day! Wheeeeee!

It was nice to sleep in my own bed. My back is killing me though. E tried to pull to stand on everything now. She can't on most things. Ughhh everytime E goes in her exersaucer she poops every time.

ellabee I vote zip up pj's on backwards too. Or duct tape. I wouldn't judge you. Lakes that's about where my DS is. He's had a couple successful potty poops and always tells us (or makes some really obvious lies if he doesn't want to get his diaper changed) when he poops. I would recommend reading Oh Crap and then reevaluating. That was my move and we were planning to PT this weekend. Until I just got this news: DS got a spot at M's new daycare!!!!!! So they both start Monday! This is great for a lot of reasons but also means a big big change for my boy and we all know how much toddlers love life changes. So yea, no potty training for a little while. peaseblossom55 DS was an exersaucer pooper too. I had forgotten about that!

rinny and ellabee in addition to work leavings, add when houses go up for sale. Is the neighborhood going to crap and I haven't noticed?! They never stay on the market long so I guess that's good. I'm sorry about losing your extra hands rinny. How is your h doing?

I haven't read yet and I'm sorry for that. I just need to get this off my chest. Is anyone else's H completely INCAPABLE of soothing a baby to sleep?! My Hs way of calming her down is to make her laugh and giggle. That is NOT helping the situation of an overtired baby. I'm trying to cook dinner after 10pm because that's when he got home, and since she's still not asleep. I tell him he needs to rock her, soothe her, and he says he just loves to see her smile. I get it. He doesn't get to see her during the day. But COME THE FUCK ON!!!
Am I being a brat because I'm tired or is this really fucking annoying?

+1 pibblemom with ds I think mh tried to help soothe him more and talked about how he felt bad because he thought ds didn't like him because he wouldn't calm down (oh the first time parent guilt!). Now with dd his automatic response is "she's hungry, she just wants your boobs." Duuuuuuude she just ate, she's just using me as pacifier now. Or here's a bottle. Or try for more than 30 seconds because I need sleep too.
